Druid Hills Commando wrote: <quoted text> Great comments, I voted for Obama and had a big time wake up call over the last 4 years. I agree that when Obama failed to get legislation passed he blamed the republicans but he never tried to compromise like a moderate. I think he had both houses when first elected but we got no real economic programs or jobs bill except for the stimulus which looks like to me waste a monumental waste of a trillion dollars. No, I am voting for Romney so we can get on the road to recovery. Thanks! I voted for Obama also and still consider myself a democrat, just not a Obama democrat. I call like I see em and he is a awful President.

The story we've been asked to go with he hasn't had "enough time" to fix the economy and/or he's being blocked... really, though, a President gets four years and if he's not showing promise yet we have to expect that someone else will be given th chance to try. And I have to admit, Romney's showing some real signs of reaching out to unsatisfied Democrats, and admiting he was wrong in sneering at the average non-wealthy Americans. But is he being honest, or do his hints at wearing Nixon style masks also ring true? -- Music & poetry from Will Dockery & Friends: http://www.reverbnation.com/willdockery

See I might give Obama a chance if we were on the road to somewhere or some point. Obama just doesn't have a direction or plan. As for Romneys comment of the 47%, who many use the great American safety net as a hammock, I agree. I have always been a working class democrat, key word: working. When the roles of those who are on entitlement programs grows enormously under one president's term then I'd say there's a problem. I call 'em like I see 'em and I think Romney did the same. Whats so bad and I mean real bad is there are people who truly need these entitlements but these slackers and lazy folks are hurting the truly needy by taking advantage of the situation. Its a real problem. As for Romney's lying, ALL politicians bend and twist the truth to suit themselves or their agenda. I have studied him and his history and there's nothing in his character or his associations that would disqualify him from being president, can't say the same for Mr Obama.

Try as I might to find some worth in Obama's first four years, he just comes up short in just the way you describe, Panther. That's why I see no choice but to decide between Jill Stein and Gary Johnson, our two Third Party choices, this year, as Romney falls short for me as well. Good to know that there's room on the ballot for those of us who feel both sides leave much to be desired. Here's to the continued growth of the Third Party system in the years to come. -- 4th Annual AIDS 5K RiverWalk Event October 13,2012: http://www.youtube.com/watch...

I am supporting Romney because he is a moderate and has valid ideas for correcting the problems facing this country. Your arguments against Romney have been that he "looks" shifty or he "reminds" you of Nixon. I do not find that a convincing argument.

Doesn't the Senate have a majority of Democrats? That does not bode well for the President with the election just around the corner.
