Poor poor poor Issa as he tried so hard to taint others on his political partisan witch hunt.

Looks like the IRS didn't single out tea party groups only but political groups like the tea party and progressive groups.

Folks like Issa throw their shyt up at the wall and then look for the facts but it looks like this witch hunt has Issa and his political folks looking like loons and idiots with egg (or other objects) on their faces.

What now, Issa, is it time to quickly change the subject - wot wot back to Benghazi?????

With 2 high ranking IRS administrators taking the 5th? No, this time someone in going to jail, and well they should!! I can't wait to see how high this scandal reaches, and begin reading some of those very, very, very secret messages from Obamas secret communication system. They think they have wiped them clean, but they are there. This government reminds me of Bonnie, and Clyde on steroids.

It is common for people and groups who are involved in illegal activities to be targeted for investigation by multiple government agencies. We all know Marijuana is illegal and that Occupy advocated illegal activity. So what does the IRS targeting them have to do with going after legitimate political groups? My question is why have they not targeted those who support illegal immigration? We know these are groups that are illegally helping criminals avoid arrest and deportation as well as providing financial help to assist people to violate the law yet they are not being investigated.

Um, in fact, marijuana is legal in a lot of places, and I know of no "illegal activities" advocated by Occupy. They're every bit as "legitimate" a political group as the Teabag Party.

Got a link to all those "advocates of illegal immigration?" Have you turned this information over to the immigration authorities?

The Collision of Federal and State Laws -- A Recent Update

There is generally a "tug of war" between the federal laws and state laws concerning medical marijuana. On the one hand, the federal government makes it a crime to cultivate, possess, or use marijuana for any purpose. On the other hand, some states allow the use of marijuana for medical reasons. Generally, in cases where federal laws and state laws collide, federal law prevails, and users of state-authorized medical marijuana may still be arrested and/or prosecuted.

The U.S. government shifted its attention to larger drug trafficking issues when the Obama Administration took over in 2009, with the Department of Justice stating it would not prioritize the enforcement of federal marijuana laws on authorized users of medical marijuana or their caregivers. However, the DOJ resumed its prosecution of medical marijuana providers in 2011 and put pressure on publishers who run ads for medical marijuana dispensaries.

Marijuana is legal in a lot of places, federal laws or not. Guess you couldn't actually refute my claim, so you just tried jumping up and down and blathering instead.

Audit confirms IRS targeted conservatives, not liberals...

Targeted 292 Tea Party groups, just 6 progressive groups...

Just to clear up some things in the 2nd paragraph. Obama never stopped going after state sanctioned medical cannabis facilities and users. To date he has been worse on cannabis users both in legal states and illegal states more so than any other president. His admin hahs twice the prosecutions than Bush did and that number is still cimbing. Regardless of what Obama says on this issue, his actions speak louder.

Oh, I don't think Obama has any loyalty to liberal groups. He has no loyalty to any group but his religion. Once again he wants to go around congress to get global warming rules. Sooner or later the Democrats that don't believe in his Muslim approach to the United States will have to step forward to save their own reputation. Already he can write off his first half of his second term. Couldn't get gun control. Couldn't get the over loaded Farm bill. Immigration? Doesn't look good either.
Good. I'm glad he doesn't have any loyalty to any groups. He's the president of all of us and his loyalty is to upholding the Constitution and honoring the office of the President, not pandering to the far right and the far left.

Mission Accomplished.
