Christie would never get the nomination unless he ran as a Democrat.

Christie want's it all. He cannot make any hard choices. And the back and fourth destroys his chance of being trusted and if we can't trust him, no way will he be granted the highest position in this land. We listened to another centerist, Oblamo, and look where we are. NJ is too progressive, to liberal in General. If he takes a firm stance of something, I'll listen. But no way can he become Leader of the free World.

Nor can I stand him. Same goes for Rubio and Cruz. The Republicans that I would like to see run for the presidency prefer to remain in their present political offices. This country will have to go down the drain before it turns around again. Too many Americans asleep at the wheel and that have been PC brainwashed by liberalism.

I like Scott, but the Union leadership would crucify him. He is strong, and smart, and capable. That is why the Republicans won't choose him. They would like Christie, but the Republican voters won't touch Christie. They might just as well vote for Biden as Christie. We talked about it at dinner last week, and my daughter asked what if the 2016 election is between Christie, and Hillary, what then?" I said, "Then you hold your nose, and vote for Christie,"

That is because you are a communist loving world globalist lackey. A small percentage of people still believe in freedom. And most who do anything about it vote on the Repub side and have to deflect from the elitists of that party. S the war is within the party and with the progressive Dem party which is ostensibly one party that is preparing us for the globalist view of utopia. Which will not be nice to many people when it gets here.

Translaton - unless the GOP goes along with Obama and the Democrat's socialistic agendas, wants to give millions of illegal aliens amnesty with 23 million Americans out of work and would be a detriment to our country and its citizens, in the liberal world they are "do nothings".

We cannot chance another Romney, or McCain. Christie will never get the nomination. We need an exciting, young Christian, well educated, Conservative, and that isn't Christie.

Of course he can win the nomination but not the general election. The Rep. party is too fractured to support any one candidate.

Christie's the only major SANE candidate the reTHUGlicans have. Which is why he'll have a hard time getting the nomination.

ReTHUGlican rank-and-file (and boy, are they rank!) hate sane candidates. Like the nutball at the top of the page, they think he's a Democrat if he says sane, rational things or puts America first.

Please, keep up the infighting! It benefits Dems and, therefore, America...:)

Please, PLEASE run a right-wing Christer 'bagger with his head up his butt. That'll guarantee YEARS of Dem domination of Congresss and the White House!

LOL @ u, idiot...:)

It doesn't matter who the Republicans run. All those people who have lost their health care, and Doctors are going to be voting. They are pissed off, and they are looking to vent their displeasure, guess where? The Republican nominee could have an eyeball in the middle of his forehead, and he will get all those votes. Life is good.

Very few people have "lost their health care," and they'll soon get newer, probably BETTER health care coverage. That's why Obamacare is succeeding and reTHUGlicans are fuming - they know it's GOING TO WORK.

ReTHUGs will lose the House in '14 and have no chance of gaining the White House in '16. Hillary's housemaid could run and win...:)

Is it really necessary to make juvenile references to the GOP as ReTHUGlicans? You can't state your case or disagree without the silly adolescent remarks?

A. Look around at these boards and tell me they're a haven for intellectual discussion, pops.

B. Republicans ARE thugs these days, which is why I refer to them as "reTHUGllicans." Again, reassess the nation you live in.
