Iowa DOT: No licenses for illegal immigrants

The Iowa Department of Transportation says it will not issue driver's licenses to young illegal immigrants who are now eligible to work in the U.S. under an Obama administration program.

What a brilliant idea. Realists know that people will be driving anyway so it is better to test their driving skills and require they purchase insurance.

People who live in a bubble somehow think that it is better to legally bar them from buying insurance and having a drivers license. The advantage to this of course is that they can now complain that they drive without licenses.

It's the best of both worlds. It's similar to when they try to block people from going to college and then complain that they are uneducated.

Look at the statistics in the states that issue driver's licenses to illegals then come back and tell us how it's working out.

It's similar to people who try to block any attempt at stopping illegal immigration, but then complain when benefits aren't given to them.
