Diversity is what is destroying them. They were once focused on Reagan’s ideology of “starve the beast”{Government} No tax raises. This would in time reduce expenditures. Reagan came to discover the error, after accumulating just under $2 Trillion in debt. Reagan then raised taxes to the highest in USA history to avert the destruction that he could now see approaching. Senior Busch after running up more than $2 trillion in debt also realized that “Starving The Beast” would not work and raised taxes. Republicans fired him. Clinton picked up on the raising taxes and balanced the budget! LOL along comes Busch Jr. listen to the republicans and went back to starving the beast. Too late to avert the error and went down in flames with the nation. Now republicans are back to starve the beast scenarios and the error grows. 200 years to be destroyed for a strategy that has been continuously proven incorrect. Continuing to try to prove a failed experiment is correct. Insanity they come to emulate. Diversifying, grabbing at straws as the waters of change rise. Faster than they can compensate for.

Difficulty that those before us had to endure to get us this far. Not to be taken lightly. From say Teddy {R} with his big stick going after the robber barons of energies, transports, wealth discrepancies, laborers productivity balanced distributions, monopolies and so on. One of his solutions was to legalize unions. Giving them a voice in their laborers productivity distribution to keep a balance between corporatist and labor’s wealth.
Another example, of the many hardships, that they had to overcome and endure; Say like WWII, how strenuously they fought to eradicate the Fascism regimes of Mussolini and Hitler. Mussolini defined Fascism as the incorporation of corporations to the state.
Observe how Roberts {R} Court ruling of Jan.2010 of unlimited funds from corporatist, with no disclosure, emulates precisely what those before us found to be unacceptable as we now are told it is the law of our land.
Unions bashed from a one time high of 15% membership to our present 7% membership workforce. Not to mention the wealth discrepancies, of unbalanced labor’s productivity distributions. Health care of our nation held to a monopolized insurances. Motivated by profit at the demise of our health. The most inefficient health care in the civilized world. Services that can be had for ½ to ¼ in the rest of the world. Yes choose your votes well. Emotions set aside for reason and rational pursuits that those before us illuminated for us. Innovations and independence..

SO what is it, no tax raises or he raises them to the highest in history?

Here are the facts on Reagan and the budget.

He cut tax rates significantly and that resulted in...increased revenues to the federal government in the 1980's. Fact.

There certainly increased deficits during the 80's and that was attributed to a huge increase in spending. Both parties can share the blame for the increased spending.

If you really hate deficit spending, then you must really hate Obama. The biggest deficit spender in the history of our country.

Financing our budget on the backs of future generations is wrong regardless of the party responsible and there is plenty of blame for both parties, yet partisan hacks think only one party is responsible.

The government does not have a revenue problem, it has a spending problem. And to try and blame one party is laughable.

Greatest deficit spending has been and is still the republicans. Apparently you are just blah, blahing your nonsense. Reagan is the winner on raising taxes. Deficit spending! Are you referring to how the republicans, TODAY PRESENTLY right in front of your nose are demanding that we subsidize corporatist that have paid no taxes, demand tax refunds in the $ Millions! Demand to be subsidized in the…$ Billions! Get your head out of that Tea POT.
Now I know you do not research what you spew. So this is just a waste of time “But” go back through “HISTORY” and observe the few times that budget was balanced. Then notice what the taxes were then. Hint, Ike, Clinton, F.D.R., Wilson and so on and so on. Just wasting time on your nonsense. Anecdotal arbitrary remarks of yours are irrelevant. Do your computer a favor and go back to your Tea POT!
Independent.. HAAA can you define independence from hermit to king. Egad what a frivolous commenter…

You mean like GE, one of Obama's largest contributors?

"The top tax bracket for U.S. corporations stands at 35 percent, one of the highest rates in the world. So how is it possible that a giant of American business, General Electric, paid nothing in federal taxes last year, even as it made billions in profit? "

Yeah it's just the republicans. LMAO!

LOL good one! If you will notice I gave you Ike {R} Eiesenhower one of the top 5 presidents that I admire. As for GE I bash them whenever the oppurtunity arises. Party affilationis first most to me is "We The People" Now check out the oil companies like Exxon and Conoco and few others. Have a list of about 10 corporationns that fit that agenda. Exxon leading the list and they are the ones that are demanding to be subsidized! Record profits in just the first quarter of this year. Guess who threatens to shut down our national credit if they do not get their way? Unamious republican and Tea Party! LOL so much for their claim to cut spending and smaller government. Trumka of the union should start a labor party but his speech this afternoon is same old nonsense. No wonder their ranks are falling. Poor leader, no grit.$ Billions to our elitist corporations that are owened by the same one's that demand tax cuts. They are already at 1935 levels for lowest taxes. That is what gets me.. Welfare Health Care and Welfare life pensions that they deny us and now seek to dismantal what little we have.

Republican do have the most ideas

Most of them are completely stupid, undoable, and driven by Fox News hysteria.

No country in the history of the world has ever experienced economic growth during a 10 year military campaign.
Bush put us here by being a puppet for the likes of Dickless Cheney.
Haliburton has brought war profiteering, which is a treasonous offense, to a new level.
Cheney should be hung by the neck til he is dead dead dead.

Dear Sick; Like your insight on this. Strenous measures examplyfies your anger, so thought I would give you a heads up on republicans new red herring delicacy. You are aware, that the statement Obama made or is proposing is but an opening for dialogue. Motivation of Israel is on the table. Note; Busch made exactly the same proposal. Only difference was that he advocated , to start from the 1949 borders. Identical borders of pre existing 1967 borders. As we all know did not work. Only difference is; one personality and two possible new incentives.
Mixture of Muslim uprisings and the fanaticism of certain Jewish sectors. Consider Egypt transition as a motivating factor for Israel. Do not know if it will fly but worth the effort. Security and monetary savings will be on the table. World opinion, in some small measure, as well. Personally do not see it coming to maturity. Could be a prelude to,… for future efforts, as the Arab revolution simmers down and when smoke clears away, for a more realistic discussion to take place.
Meanwhile back at the ranch tea flavored republicans will expose their hypocrisies’. Slandering Obama for proposing exactly what they proposed. Another red herring for the populace to be distracted by. Opens their agendas to push forward with subsidizing oil companies that paid no taxes, record profits, bloated Wall Street oil speculations, get them tax refunds into the millions for each and get subsides into the…….$ Billions! Payment to be had, once again, will be derived from elderly's pensions and health! As well as at the pump for populace’s contributions.. LOL.. Socialism for the elite!

Of course the GOP is more diverse !

The Democrats are just a fascist cabal of Marxist-Leninist socialists !

Did you hear about Obamaniac®'s LATEST "Three Point Stimulous Plan" ?

First, he wants to create thousands of jobs by sending construction workers overseas to rebuild the Berlin Wall. He said he wants it built "Bigger, Wider, Taller, Stronger, and BETTER than before as only Americans can do it". He claims that this will not only create thousands of construction jobs, but stimulate the building of ships to send all the building materials over to Europe.

Secondly, he proposes a massive "Rebuild America's Infrastructure" project to lift and turn the Brooklyn Bridge so that it will now go to Manhattan. He claims that this will GREATLY ease traffic woes, and provide thousands of needed jobs for construction workers, and those little silver lunch trucks.

Thirdly, he proposes to finally finish the Holland Tunnel. After the Hollond Tunnel was built, during the Great Depression, the original plan to build the tunnel to Holland (now called The Netherlands), was abandoned due to lack of funds. The tunnel only went as far as New Jersey and the project was abandoned.

Obamaniac® wants to finish the Holland Tunnel, so that it actually GOES TO Holland, as originally planned. This is a plan I WHOLE-HEARTEDLY AGREE WITH, and extending the Holland Tunnel to Holland (now called The Netherlands), as originally planned will provide thousands of construction jobs, and finally allow a very quick direct automobile route to Europe.

I hope this is ONE project that the Republican congress approves !

Also, the large statue of the inventor of the Ever-Ready Battery, in Battery Park is proposed to be completely refurbished, and possibly turned into a solar-powered lighthouse for New York Harbor.

Your comment is false as much as you are. Egads the children are out of school. Ignorance will now take center stage. Now while you were in school some things have been going on. People have come to identify ignorance of yours and others of your mentality is of no relevance.One small example of whats a happening;
“IF” memory serves me? Was it not Obama that boldly step forward and produced federal LOANS for our manufacturing industries. Republicans crying out in unionism, Nay, Nay, Nay. Intoxicated Tea sippers accusing him of fascism, communism, socialism, dictator and so on. Bash, bash tear down Obama and our manufacturing “Let them fail”! Just like you RIGHTY?
Manufacturing is rapidly rebounding and providing jobs that republicans promised and never ever produce one job. Contrary; they have fired and subdued all investments that would, could produce jobs.
One example of intelligent leadership, of many, Chrysler has paid back entire loan six years ahead of due date! They are presently “INVESTING”, a word that republicans have changed the definition to “SPENDING”,$ Two Billion to retool and open 18 more plants nationwide!
Imagine; had, the intoxicated republicans, achieved their goals to SHUT DOWN our manufacturing industries. Just where in the world would we be now? Manufacturing in ruin to the worlds delight as the giant falls. Just what you want RIGHTY BIGOT?
Republican example of their stance on our labor force is to SPEND over $ 300 million to shut down a Louisiana Avondale shipyard and firing 5000 laborers in the process. That is how republicans support our manufacturing. Now that’s “Spending” as taxpayers will never see a dime of that $300millon. Now observe Obama “Invested” and he knows the difference.Do you know the difference little one..?
Then they {R} demand to cut your health, pensions and demand subsides to record profiting oily companies into the $ Billions. No new jobs there as well. Obama produces 4,200 jobs and republican shut down 5,000??? Gee wonder why its taking so long for a simple clean up of republican’s mess..???
Notice how Sen. Cantor wants to DEBATE relief efforts for the tornado victims and flood relief. Real leader there??
Speculating on oil futures on the hedge funds has produced a 30% over charge, above supply and demand, at the fuel pumps, to have you pay for this fiasco they are dumping on you.
Now for the “RUB”! Who do you think owns these corporations that paid NO taxes, received tax refunds in the millions for each of them and demand subsides into the $ Billions? Yup, same one’s that demand no tax raise to their income tax.! Now look on this thread how the losers mingle with all they have left racist blah, blah, blah. As it should be for their party has absorbed the racist and weak minded tea sippers. GOING Down down. Tsunami repubs in the hall are heard saying “O my god its coming” Five of them are crossing the aisle seeking higher ground. I am going to enjoy this at my leisure. Republicans are their own worst ideology, no more needs to be done. Obama has exposed them in the lights of truths and they now scurry.
Try to catch up there laddie..
