except if you read "loving" you would see it is not.

a RACE based statute has no analogy to gay rights.

So, how should transgenders be treated? Should a woman who transitions to male be allowed to marry a woman in every state? Or are such men prevented from marrying because the union will be barren? Does a transgener male have the right, then, to marry a man?

Every time you turn around, something more unusual than you had previously imagined takes place.
These sound just like the problems you use as a valid reason to not provide marriage to polygamists...

and yes I agree that "Every time you turn around, something more unusual than you had previously imagined takes place."
Indeed you seem to be supporting that the slippery slope has begun!

This statement is undeniably true. If you are applying your reasoning consistently, then we must be able to restrict the elderly from marrying as we do gay people.
<quoted text>
No. Your argument did not specify children who were a result of biological reproduction between the two members.
You try to put words in my mouth and then dispute them...

the statement is not undeniably true...as I said, VIRTUALLY nil is not the same a NIL is it?
http://parenting.blogs.nytimes.com/2008/12/09...

and yes, it did say children of the marriage, why would we care about outside children?

"The Legislature could find that this rationale for marriage does not apply with
comparable force to same-sex couples.
These couples can become parents by
adoption, or by artificial insemination or
other technological marvels, but they do
not become parents as a result of accident
or impulse."

And why would we look at kids from outside the marriage?

My marriage is a billionaire if I can include a very wealthy third person in my marriage...

and the reason you STILL haven't addressed:

"There is a second reason: The Legislature could rationally believe that it is better, other things being equal, for children
to grow up with both a mother and a
father. Intuition and experience suggest
that a child benefits from having before his
or her eyes, every day, living models of
what both a man and a woman are like. It
is obvious that there are exceptions to this
general rule—some children who never
know their fathers, or their S360mothers, do
far better than some who grow up with
parents of both sexes—but the Legislature
could find that the general rule will usually
hold."

It was you who inferred prostitution was OK because you claim it was a "victimless crime".
what?

it IS a victim-less crime...
your interjecting other illegalities like statutory rape doesn't change that!

Polygamy and same sexed couples are completely different.

When you focus on making scrambled eggs is your mind on sweeping out the garage?

You're a sad game player moron and it shows.

Funny.

The criminal law system would disagree.

By the way...criminals also prostitute 12 year old girls.

I guess you don't see any victmization in that either.

BS, Jane. I directly quoted the argument you used.

Elderly couples are NOT less likely to have/raise children then young couples? On what planet?
Jane Dough wrote:

As I showed, the rate of children had or raised in homes headed by gay couples is NOT nil, so your question is moot.
Jane Dough wrote:

Your argument stated "born into or grow up in". That includes outside children, adopted children, or children created via artificial means.

The available scientific evidence and views of major psychological and sociological organizations refutes this "reason". You have no evidence of gay couples being inferior parents.

see that would be the "statutory rape" that is already a crime...

and NO STUDY even purports to compare gay marriages with straight marriages....
you have a few self selected self reported very small sample studies that do not even make the claim you seem to think they do...in short, you have JUNK...

In past posts you claimed to be a woman.

In your name setting here you strongly infer you are a woman given I have yet to meet a "Jane" who's a man.

And yet you're in here bashing others who's sexuality isn't to your linking so yeah DUMBFUCK...it makes on curious.

It's still prostitution.

An entity you agree is a "victimless" crime.

Your words moron...not mine.
