This health care reform is anything BUT incremental. 1900 pages - government option - changing tax code VIII to limit reimbursement to healthcare facilities for readmissions and changing the tax code to fine individuals without insurance - the adding of no less than 8 governmental offices and positions no reform for pharmaceuticals - no tort reform - come on. Section 102 grandfather's in my employers current plan for five years at which time it must match the governments planned coverage. No, no my dear this is NOT incremental change.
I say it's incremental because the hard work hasn't even begun yet. Just because Congress voted on it doesn't mean the Senate will. In fact, in it's current state, it won't pass the Senate.

That's where compromise and incremental steps of change to it is what will become of it. It's basically a work in progress.

And make no mistake, there are some provisions I'm not exactly thrilled about personally. I don't like the fact that you "have to" buy into or face penalties. But at the end of the day, it's no different than forcing people who want a car, auto insurance.

It's the same thing. But I agree, it's far from perfect.

But it's a start.

WoW. You actually posted some truth for once.
Yes, their are some "moderate" democrats who are getting in the way. I don't blame them because they represent states that for the most part, are conservative and they represent the vote for that particular state.
So yes, there are some chickenshet democratic Senators and Congressman who don't agree.
And no, it does not get old getting outfoxed. Thanks.
I always post the truth, but truth is in the eye of the beholder.

I'm NOT from Pismo Beach as you mistakenly post. You are wrong again.

Careful you don't get what you hope for regarding Obamacare. It's so great even Obama won't subject his family to it. Obamacare is the exact ingredient that will oust him out of office faster than anything else.

Have a nice day.

Apparently abortion is a sacred cow to these people.
Why not demand that the legislation also cover auto repairs and fire damage to homes? that has an easier chance of being included than abortion funding.
Abortion is the Holy Grail to Democrats. Execute the innocent, but save the guilty is their mantra.

I'm for everyone getting healthcare, and a home, and money to heat the homes, and cars, and gas for the cars, and car insurance, and food, and clothing, and a vacation home in Hawai'i, and making the minimum wage $1 million an hour. See, LB Citizen, I care!!!

Your welcome Devil Woman. As soon as you start acting normal (if that is even possible given your state of mind), maybe you will actually get some serious dialog.
BTW sorry if calling you obese struck home. Maybe you should do something about it? Like join Jenny Craig perhaps?
Oops, guess I've been outFOXed again.
My bad.
LOL!
So "devil woman", "obese", "jenny craig" is NOT name-calling and that is "acting normal"?

You make fun of obese people. Do you relish making fun of gays too? "Limp-wristed", "light in the loafers" are terms you embrace?

How about don't make fun of anyone? Are you able to cope with that type of civil behavior?

I've NEVER made fun of people. You have. But, you are outFOXed often enough.

Ever been to La Canada?

So what exactly do you hope to gain by posting at this site?

Would you rather be civil or mean?

Can you respect a viewpoint that opposes your viewpoint?

If you oppose racism does that also include racism directed at Whites?

If you oppose gay-bashing do you also oppose straight people being verbally and physically abused by gays? Do you give one group a pass for violence because they support your viewpoint?

I agree, and yes did know that labor unions are huge contributors. I'm of the belief that unions once held importance in our labor movement, but now, as times have progressed, I think unions are becoming more of a hinderance than helpful.
I agree 100% about the unions although I have family members that would be aghast if they heard me say it. They really improved workers safety, wages, and benefits but now they are another special interest group out for their own ends and means.

Fox is so far ahead in winning the war that Obama's admin. started. Then you throw in that stretched face old bag Pelosi's socialist health bill, things are not going to well for the dems. It will never make into law. With it's failure we the American people will be safe from socialist and very poor healthcare. Obama will go back to Chicago as the worst president in history in a little over three years. He can go back to being a spokesman for libral causes such as saving Acorn.

If you oppose slavery how can you proclaim "how does it feel to get owned..."

You know you're out of bounds with your "sociopathic liar" line.

I admit that I'm impressed with the handles you remember, but "Obamanation" is not one of them, but you I have posted something to the effect of "friend of LB Citizen" or the like. So, I'll give it to you and say that you did find 10.

Violence? Never. There is no bargaining room for violence regardless of who is doing the violence or who the victim may be.

Ditto -- doesn't California have state run health care also? Mass and Tenn are just about broke from the news reports I've heard.
So why do people continue to support Obama's health care plan, despite its track record in Massachussetts and Tennessee.

I can only suppose that it is because it isn't their reality and an assumption that the Federal government can do it better. Which is surprising considering Medicare, Medicaid and the VA. I haven't seen any poll indicating that the majority of voters support the health care reform bill. It's a scary thing...

Why do people continue to NOT support health care reform?

Daily Horoscope for December 29

Gemini

It's easy to become distracted and confused because your mind is wandering about in all sorts of different directions. You're also in a highly impressionable state so will believe almost anything you're told now, whether it's true or a total flight of fancy. Be wary of muddling others by only telling them half the story or letting your imagination fill in any gaps.
