The new (Suicidal) GOP establishment

Feb 4, 2013 | Posted by: roboblogger | Full story: New York Post

The New Establishment's leaders claim to speak for the very loose agglomeration of voters who gathered three years ago under the banner of the Tea Party, and they angrily assert that anyone who has a different view of how best to achieve conservative aims isn't a conservative at all.

The few moderate Republicans left better have their survival skills well practiced they are going to need them. I Can hear the Elmer Fudd wing of the GOP... the "Refuddican's" got the old blunderbuss loaded up...

Is Ann Coulter and Limbaugh one of the same?

They both spewed disgraceful comments about kids being massacred in the Home of the Brave and the Land of the Guns

Ann Coulter lives inside Rush Limbaugh. Every hour her head pops out, and they both sing a duet of "cuckoo! cuckoo!"

And they say Republicans are all alike. But now we see that there are, on the one hand, the extreme right, and on the other, those so far to the right that they have plunged off the diving board.
The hope now is that the first group dives in for a cannibal seafood dinner.

I am glad that many within the leadership of the GOP have started to notice and speak out on the deadend of following the tea party and governing strictly for white corporate wealthy America.....

Coulter and her birth control comment shows how dimwitted and stupid some of these folks are. Yes they are part of the "stupid party" to quote Jindal.

Btw, coulter baby, this second-term president is respected by women who seemed to vote for him over the antiquated, behind the times thinking of the republicant party.

Now I know why people watch Bullshyt Mountain - Coulter and Insanity at the same time is better than going to the circus.

I miss Beck, though. He used to draw these little charts - good stuff.

Like to catch the first 2-3 minutes of Huckleberry's show, when they scan the audience. Seems like they show the same bunch of old white people every time.

Yes however the civil war gives the dems.a temporary advantage.
GOP recovery time will be determined by how bloody and long the feud is and upon who wins. Should the radicals win this fight the GOP will experence what the Dems. did after the 1968-72 civil war in their party, the left had won that exchange and. From 1968 up untill 1992 the GOP won 5 of 6 Presidential elections. If the radicals are victorious the same fate could be played out in GOP

Your racist and bigoted remarks are going to boomer rang on you someday. And the way we are going not a long way off. The least you can do is study a situation instead of grandstanding with your posts blaming that one group of people who have paid the freight and are being blamed for the sin of getting old and providing less to the progressive coffers. If you don't get it, one of their worries is that the social security and medicare they were forced to pay into in a heavy mannered way is the scape goat of all our problems now that the taxes are slowing down from them and now starting to collect. You should be worried about all of those people not white using all of their genius in creating new jobs to offset those mean old white people. So far you are failing. Not even close. And progressives have always had the answers. There is a difference between the talk and the walk though. Its your world now go to it.

When the republicans talk about fiscal responsibility, a smaller government or freedoms and liberties they have my attention but when I watched the state of the union address in 2004 and with all our problems and a war going what does george bush address, we got to do something about this gay marriage thing gay marriage. And stem cell, research, some of the most promising breakthroughs can be found with fetal stem cells and nerve regeneration offering promise to a hopeless situation.

I don't want right wing turbo christian dogma determining science, reproductive rights or who can marry who.

Robert, there are issues with conservatives on some or much of what you wrote. Stem cells comes from the fetus and then brings the abortion issue into play. There are Repubs who don't have a problem with these issues. There are libertarians who have no issue with what you wrote. But there are a good amount that believe it is murder and that is a fact. On the other hand, people can say the same things about the progressive movement. We only have two parties. But many views.
