who did it wrote: <quoted text>But we are not talking about Kennedy , I am asking what Obama has done for Illinois! I don't like any of the candidates this year. All I was saying is that Kenndey did not really do anything for MA or for the country when he was in the U.S. Senate. He did about as much as Obama. My mistake for not being clearer.

Right after that, this person agreed that Jefferson was the father of Liberalism. More people need to have more knowledge about the founding of this country if we're going to climb out of the morass we find ourselves in. Maybe more people would see this pissing contest Huffington is generating as nothing more than a distraction and an attempt to get noticed. Agreed. Washington has to be nonpartisan. With the cabinet that he had Washington had to. He knew what was going on between Hamilton, Jefferson and Madison. Washington's hope that the next president would rise above politics like he tried to... And Adams failed at that, and Jefferson was truly a party player. Washington was on to something. His farewell message is, unforturentrly, history to our politicians. If even 1% understood what his message was I might be willing to cut politicians some slack.

On the health side of things, maybe you too should doctor-shop for your addiction to pain-killing meds and preach abstinence over the airwaves while carrying Viagra in your flight bag with another mans name on them so no one will know you're a thrice-divorced man looking to party-hearty in the Caribbean? Or maybe you could snag a pulpit and preach to the right-wing masses that "you have sinned," right after you've been nailed with a prostitute? How about emulating a former Speaker of the House: get divorce number one, then make your mistress wife number two, then get a new mistress, then divorce wife number two and make latest mistress wife number three? Get off your high-horse. You're not fooling anybody here... And you, like most libs it seems, don't understand the proper use of sarcasm. That was a response to the standard lib idea that unless you go fight yourself, you can't support the use of military force. I'm not going to bother to make sarcastic comments about the personal failings of prominent Democrats. I don't have that much time.:)

Otherwise, Al Gore wouldn't have been trying so damn hard to invalidate the absenteen military vote during the 2000 Florida recount where he went to the Florida Supreme Court to try to change election law AFTER the vote. Being a liberal democrat... if the military vote was even 50.0001% liberal democrat, Al Gore would have been fighting to INCLUDE the military vote... don't you think? Back to the point of this thread. Huffington "fell" a long time ago. She was one of President Clinton's HARSHEST critics, the George Bush's, now John McCain. Next stop for her, to continue to be an absolute NUT JOB and attack whoever is the next president of the U.S. There must have been lead AND mercury in her cavier and canape's...lol...'cause she is the wackiest broad I ever saw on TV. No- the original post referred to a "military poll" that "proved" most armed forces members were NOT Liberal. I would like to know the name and date of the poll....

So typical. wow you sure are good, you know what my thoughts are and you never met me! I am impressed. I don't care about europe just as i don't care about Africa, or asia, or the middle east. They can worry about their own country's and I will worry about mine. Pretty simple to understand IF you aren't a LIB.

Sorry, but think about it. That's correct.Yes,most of the Democrats did vote for this war,and there was a lot of evidence presented at the United Nations.Unfortunately, that doesn't make it right. There's many dictators in the world with WMDs-China,one of our biggest trading partner is one.In my opinion the United States rushed in to this quagmire without enough manpower or postwar planning. We had Saddam contained with the embargo and the no-fly zones.I just feel we are mired in another VietNam type war, with no end in sight. This mess has also blown any chance of getting Bin Laden. That's why in November I'll be supporting a candidate that will commit to getting the hell out of Iraq.Hopefully,in a manner that leaves it stable. We could all have a better dialogue on these threads if we learn respect different views. This country will never recover from our current problems by trying to stomp each other out.Don't trust either party.Like the old saying goes, Divide and conquer.I'm seriousy looking at a third party candidate this year.

I doubt it exists because this is the 3rd time I have asked for clarification and no-one can give me the name of the poll. I'm not ASSUMING anything- of course the military is not "100% Lib"- so- once again- what was the name of the poll?

And why shouldn't there be a debate about this dubious "shadow poll." It doesn't even exist- unless you can give me: a name for the poll, who did the polling, and where I can see the results of the poll.
