Wishfull thinking.Do you think America or Americans are free enough to rethink or regroup or realise or do any other thing as you want? Yours is the most bonded nation in history.Your freedom stops with your freedom to chose your toothpaste, soap, car and criticism of your fellow Christians. The other serious matters that affect America as a nation are decided by AIPAC and the "lobby". You can't even open your mouth against certain people just as Carter or Mel Gibson find out. Just think over what I mentioned. In essance you are living in Argo City. If you have not heard of Argo City, find out.Your president, whoever he may be,is its overseer

No one can destroy your values for you but you. Bush may have had a poor handling of politics, but he cannot possibly be single-handedly responsible for destroying the country. I'd prefer he'd never of been in office, though. He has terrible skills in domestic and foreign relations. That fact alone shows that it took many more than he to destroy our country and its values. If you'd wake up, the country was already in a consistently worsening state when he stole office via the Supreme Court.

So? What's new news? I've been in a quandry (That's like a Yugo, but with less horsepower) ever since Huckabee faded. The question is whether to vote for a Democrat that is clearly a socialist - or for a lying, backsliding, Republocrat that is clearly a Democrat hiding under the GOP logo. Some choice! The only hope I see to save our country is for McCain to pick a really conservative running mate and the kick off before the election. Well, when the USA becomes the United Socialist States of AMexica - Or the Middle arm of the North American Aliance - don't blame me, I voted for Huckabee.

Randy Shaw of San Francisco ~ A Colleague and Friend of Drevelyn “D” Minor ~~~ Wrote in the ~~~Beyond Chron.org ~~~for more information please visit their web-site.~~~~~~~~~ Major Obama Victory in N.C. Resolves Nomination Fight by Randy Shaw‚ May. 06‚ 2008 ~~~~~~~~~ The campaign between Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton has gone on so long that even political junkies are eager for it to wind up.~~~~~~~~~ I wrote on April 22 that it would be up to North Carolina voters on May 6 to end Clinton’s campaign for good, and despite Reverend Wright and a traditional media intent on ignoring key issues and electoral math, nothing has changed my analysis.~~~~~~~~ The last week has significantly altered the prevailing narrative that the two candidates have largely identical views.~~~~~~~~~ Clinton’s support for a summer waiver of the federal gas tax, her attack on economists opposing the waiver as “elitists,” her willingness to “obliterate” Iran, and her Indiana mailer accusing Obama of infringing on gun owner’s rights reflect a neo-Cold Warrior candidate who will move as far to the right as necessary to get what she wants.~~~~~~~~~ Half of the remaining pledged delegates will be decided tonight, and, if she loses North Carolina, even a national media desperate to prolong this race will be urging Clinton to drop out.~~~~~~~~~ This race is about delegates, not a mythical “electability,” and with African-Americans comprising 40% of the state’s early voting electorate, Obama should finally “close the deal.”~~~~~~~~ I agree with Randy and I am supporting Obama for President!

I remember my friend, who lives in Arkansas, having a distain for John McCain going back many years ago. At that time, he was in denial about the Keating Five scandal and managed to survive the scandal. He uses free of charge his wife's private jet to travel to his campaign stops. I am almost eighty years ago. It takes one to know one. McCain is in denial about his age and his illnesses or old age problems. He acts much older than I do. Why doesn't he release all his medical records? Does he want to keep us in denial that he is too old and too infirmed to run for president?

Drevelyn Minor wrote: Randy Shaw of San Francisco ~ A Colleague and Friend of Drevelyn “D” Minor~~~~~~ Wrote: Racial Realities in the United States ~~~~~~~~~~ by Randy Shaw‚ May. 05‚ 2008 ~~~~~~~~~~ Two facts to think about. First, as Frank Rich noted in Sunday’s New York Times, a traditional media obsessed with Democrats’ ability to win “white working class voters” ignores the fact that Republicans have no African-Americans in Congress or the Senate.~~~~~~~~~ And nobody hosting a Sunday political talk show defines the Republican Party’s racial exclusion as a “problem,” or examines what this means for the G.O.P.'s electoral prospects.~~~~~~~~~ Second, since the Civil War ended in 1865, the only African-Americans to win a statewide election are Senator Edward Brooke and Governor Deval Patrick in Massachusetts, Governor Doug Wilder in Virginia, and Senators Carol Moseley-Braun and Barack Obama in Illinois.~~~~~~~~~ Five people in over 140 years. And yet some wonder why a path is not being cleared for Obama to waltz to the White House.~~~~~~~~~ I agree with Randy’s comments !!!!! Because the majority of minorities, especially African Americans don't see republicans as representing their values and beliefs. The republicans have tried to lure more minorities, but the democrats work real hard to keep them and play the race card.

Big deal, McCain as long as he can do the job and think clearly can run the country. It might be wise to have an older individual who can think things out before acting on an impulse like Bush or the Clintons.
