Kenya is headed the Yugoslavia way but everyone pretends all is well. A few months from now everyone will be asking wjat happened i thought they had recovered . The settlement earlier this year never took into account the people of kenya. the international community and political elites struck a deal. The people of kenya were left out in the cold. The country is falling apart

Obama will take care of Kenya. That's his father's land. The people of Kenya have nothing to worry about.

Kenya, like the USA, will be fine. Messiah Obama will fix everything. No more world hunger, no more global warming, no more killings in Chicago. Not to worry, the people have spoken and their Messiah will soon mount his white horse and ride.

This article is ridiculous as is Joe
from Exxes's comment. Products of people that are not aware of the situation. Typical Western journalism. How can you conclude that the celebrations regarding Obama that took place in Kisumu could have descended into a riot? It was a happy moment.

If you want to keep up on real journalism in Kenya, please tune into the newspapers from the country such as:
The Nation (nation.co.ke) and the East African Standard ( eastandard.net ).

obama will definitely send US troops to kenya to separate rival tribes. American blood will shield Kenyans from each other... for a while.

Great understanding of the complex tribal divide between Kenyan communities. But it is wrong to say majority of those killed were Kikuyus. The report on post election violence says police killed more than half the people who died during the violence, and those who were shot by the police were protesters. The kikuyu certainly did not protest against the rigged elections.

yes, and they may not get a chance to report on these matters if the new media bill gets the go a head.
