It did NO SUCH THING!
So, once again:
"The Sherman Antitrust Act (the full text of which can be found here) authorized the Federal Government to dissolve the trusts. It began with the statement: "Every contract, combination in the form of trust or otherwise, or conspiracy, in restraint of trade or commerce among the several States, or with foreign nations, is declared to be illegal." And it established penalties for persons convicted of establishing such combinations: "... shall be punished by fine not exceeding $10,000,000 if a corporation, or, if any other person,$350,000, or by imprisonment not exceeding three years, or by both said punishments, in the discretion of the court."
What part of that is 'communistic?'
I patiently await your reply.

Oh, and by the way: Just how ISN'T a monopoly in violation of 'free enterprise?'
If a commercial enterprise is supposed to be 'free,' then PRECISELY HOW is a monopoly to be seen as 'free trade?'
You can't have it both ways: A monopoly IS the antithetical to free trade, for it STIFLES ANY idea of 'free trade.'

There is no such thing as free trade other than in the right-wingerís fantasy land! Free trade theory is a piss poor right-wing description of global commerce as it is, supposedly, practiced today. Trade is good; all trade is good and more trade is better! In reality we must stride for mutual gain and improved standard of living for communities in America as well as the rest of the world as many nonpolitical economists have been pointing out. If free trade economics were moved from the economics departments in universities to mathematics departments, it would be discredited on logical grounds during the first day. Conventional free trade theory is considered largely irrelevant in business schools, where students learn the practice of moving capital and production around the world. Free trade theory sustains itself, not because of academic rigor, but because of strong political rhetoric and economic interests it its favor. Itís been shown and acknowledged time after time, that inequality is likely to widen as barriers are removed. Millions of workers will suffer loss, while a very small fraction of the population will gain.

Bingo!!!
If all the current gun control debate was about finding ways to prevent mentally ill people from access to firearms then there would not be some much drama. Unfortunately the left is using this issue to simply restrict guns from competent Americans.
Hogwash! According to you ignorant gun-a-holics all it takes is to strap on a gun and Ė voila - you are now an invincible self-defense expert! The fact is, genuine experts in self-defense and marksmen ship train for many years and keep on training to maintain their expertise. Your brainless argument is nothing more than stupid NRA rhetoric and lies!

Its the same way with the politicans wanting to take away our guns, meanwhile they are heavyly protected by armed guards. I say, line em all up against a wall, catch my drift. They are traitors to the constitution, dirt bags. Remember, an unarmed country is easier to control and conqoure.

Race car drivers spend many years perfecting their dangerous trade yet we still allow little old ladies to drive Corvettes or Humvees if they want to and we allow people that have never driven on ice or snow to drive to any state that want to in the middle of the winter through a blizzard or freezing rain.
Now I may not be an invincible self defense expert but then is the perp that wants to do me harm an vincible self defense expert or perhaps a druggie that needs a fix and his hands are shaking? Who do you think has spent more time at the range practicing, the perp or me?

Amen to that! The time will come when some of these people on here will be face to face with someone wanting to do them bodily harm, and admit it or not, they would be thinking,' if only I had a gun'. Too late. LOL

Well, certainly The President is NOT an "anti-gun" anything, but I was interested to read this:

Has Obama himself ever fired a gun?
"Yes," the president says, "in fact, up at Camp David, we do skeet shooting all the time."

http://www.myabc5.com/story/20715948/obama-gu...

"The president says it's understandable that people are protective of their family traditions when it comes to hunting."

WASHINGTON (AP)- President Barack Obama says gun-control advocates should be better listeners in the debate over firearms in America.

Sounds very reasonable and sensible to me.

If a person disagrees with a gun fanatic, does that automatically mean they need protection?

That tells you what sort of people they are. Scary.
