Your recollections of history are as faulted as your opinions. The U.S. was secretly involved in interdicting North Atlantic Nazi submarine traffic, along with providing convoy escorts between the U.S. and the UK long before the declaration of war was made. Additionally, U.S. fliers were used in the air defense of the UK before the declaration of war against Germany.
One is inclined to inquire: Why should the U.S. have gotten involved in what was just another European conflict?
Extremely well said.

If I made add Britain would have starved to death with out USA food convoys and lend lease would provide Britain with guns , tanks and other military equipment that allowed them to keep up with superior German industrial production.

Britain's greatest fighter aeroplane of the war would be an American fighter outfitted with a British Rolls Royce Engine.

American aid was the single greatest non British component of the war and no one knew this better the Churchill who in his "we will fight on the beaches" speech said ; "until, in God's good time, the New World, with all its power and might, steps forth to the rescue and the liberation of the old."

That's not true you were offered compensation to give up your guns...obviously you took the compensation...I have a brother in law that still has a safe full of weapons that he has collected over the years....

The link to that would be helpful because the only North Atlantic treaty I am aware of wasn't agreed to or signed till 1949 the second world war started in 1939 and ended in 1945...But never let truth get in the way of a good story eh Yank!

They FLED from the Philipines to the SAFE HAVEN of Australia for protection.

This was after the US broke the Japenese trade treaty of 1918 while Japan was involved in a War with China.
That is a declaration of war by the US.
But they had to do it.
There was more profit to be made from the European War and shipping was scarce.

As of May 29, 2012, according to the U.S. Department of Defense casualty website, there were 4,409 total deaths (including both killed in action and non-hostile) and 31,928 wounded in action (WIA) as a result of Operation Iraqi Freedom. War 2003-2012

In 2003 alone, 30,136 Americans died by gunfire: 16,907 in firearm suicides, 11,920 in firearm homicides, 730 in unintentional shootings, and 232 in firearm deaths of unknown intent, according to the National Center for Health Statistics. Nearly three times that number are treated in emergency rooms each year for nonfatal firearm injuries.

IS THERE A CIVIL WAR IN THE US WE HAVEBT HEARD ABOUT!

EVERY 3 YEARS there are more DOMESTIC CASUALTIES FROM FIREARMS THAN THE WHOLE OF THE IRAQ WAR.

OH. The Domestic 2nd amendment MILITIA managed to amass 250 Justifiable Homicides to defend the Nation.

So typical of the bullshit propaganda that you have been led to believe....America the saviour of the world...The reason you are the most hated coutry in the world is that your people are vacuumous they will believe anything they are fed by their media or government if you wrap it up with the red white and blue. There is not a country in the world that doesn't know or respect our diggers they have held and fought off the enemy with overwhelming odds and they don't think they have a right in war or at any other time to commit the kind of the attrocities the yanks have managed in Mai Lei, or the incident in Afghanistan shooting a family of sixteen and then try to hide it or cover it up or manage not to be accountable in the court for war crimes....there is something seriously wrong with the American phsyche that says this is acceptable in war.....The world respects our diggers because they value human life even in war and when mistakes are made they are mistakes not murder....too bad you can't say the same....Gung ho Wanks.

Typical BS.

The average American would pull back our troops and let the world fight it out but you are a fool , here you damn America for not getting involved quick enough in WW II and then damn America for being involved other places.

We are not your puppets and today your government calls on us once again and once again we answer YOUR call for help.

Our resources would be better off if you would learn to defend yourselves but you rely on our charity.

You are at fault for not having put forth the money necessary for a national defence and we pick up the tab.

Tell me why the American tax payer should subsidize the defence of your country.

Your ignorance is in great supply.

The embargo of Japan in defence of the Chinese was a joint effort of the USA , The UK and the Dutch.

Had this not been done all of the Pacific rim would have been overrun by the Japanese including your Aussie home.

In deed US forces were overrun in the Philippines as Filipino fighters disappeared and left the US forces alone to fight the Japs.

Your greatest asset seems to be to bitch and if that is what you do best , so be it but at least get your facts straight.
