2 Yeah, and how is the crime rate you your country. Since you took the guns away from your citizens it has skyrocketed, so don't preach. |

3 Also, the rise of material promotion over social values has transformed the soul into a material possession that has turned family members into selfish individuals. It is typical of the Western progressive civilisation. |

2 Australia has much lower violent crime rates (and have been slowly declining for years) than America and our murder rate has dropped since gun control, and we didn’t have to lock up the highest percentage of our population in the world to do it, unlike America. |

3 In 2000, the rate at which people were robbed or assaulted was higher in England, Scotland, Finland, Poland, Denmark and Sweden than it was in the United States. The assault rate in England was twice that in the United States. In the decade since England banned all private possession of handguns, the BBC reported that the number of gun crimes has gone up sharply. Some of the worst examples of mass gun violence have also occurred in Europe. In recent years, 17 students and teachers were killed by a shooter in one incident at a German public school; 14 legislators were shot to death in Switzerland, and eight city council members were shot to death near Paris. |

4 I was watching Chris Rock stand up once, and he said "we don't need gun control, we need BULLET control. Every bullet should cost 5000 dollars! If bullets cost 5000 dollars, there would be no innocent bystanders." I thought it was hilarious. |

2 In what possible way do we depend on England? Because I really cannot see how. We value the good hardworking immigrants we have been lucky to have chosen to live here and become Australians and have benefited greatly from their contributions, many believe it is time to reign in the numbers coming here but only to preserve our environment and way of life, what whining? Our tax rates are reasonable and combined with an excellent average wage we have no complaints. We voted largely on the basis of gun reform, where do you get this revolt idea from? America is the new inmate country, you incarcerate the largest percentage of your population, not even communist countries with re-education camps lock up as many; perhaps you should read up on American history the British transported many convicts to America, the difference is we don’t hide our history, and see nothing wrong with our ancestors steeling bread to stave off starvation. Basically you have no idea what you are talking about. |
