I expect them to do their jobs and represent their constituents whether conservative or liberal, but I expect them to over all have the best interest of America at heart..........which right now, all they care about is power and money. Republican have gotten rid of many lifetime politicians. The libs could do the same, the once in Washington have outlived their usefulness.
The defeated party is typically the ones that look towards new faces and agenda. So it is no shock that Democrats haven't purged
The GOP is trying to do something difficult after McCain came the tea party make over in 2010 and now a post Romney repositioning back center. With the most viable party figure being Paul who is neither hard right nor center.
Jimbo fresh faces are not always the answer.
Flaws run deeper than that

If we are to have background checks just to buy a weapon that our constitutionguarantees, we should have the same for those making and watching over our laws. There are too many crooks in Washington that have done many unlawful things. It's time the FBI opened their files on our govermental royalty.

Liars are negative-information posters, as you were here:

"Obama didn't end the war, he followed Bush's schedule."

That was an absurd lie. WHether or NOT Obama "followed Bush's schedule" was irrelevant, since Bush was not President. When Obama took charge, it became HIS schedule. Get it?

You can't sleaze away from the fact that you made a complete fool of yourself. But as always, you'll try...:)

Bringing the second into how parties reform themselves after loses?
The incumbents security should be challenged, I like requiring a candidate to raise their campaign funds from in side of the district or state that they seek to represent. Reforming the way congressional districts are drawn to eliminate gerrymandering. I would also be willing to consider the establishment of public finance and term limits
If any of our existing law makers are criminal, they don't belong.
With the GOP reforming itself . It has placed itself in a very difficult position. It had redeployed itself to the right in 2010. To remain there virtually assures defeat. To shift itself back to the center will be seen by some as a signal that all philosophic statements by the party are tactical.
It will get really fun to watch the post Obama landscape evolve in about a year.

Your response was cleaner, but the fact is Obama had followed W's schedule more or less. What Jimbo should have added was, a touch of sincerity in saying this enabled us to shift attention to to legit half of our war, the part where we kill Osama.
Just because I agree with you 75% of the time doesn't get you any hometown scorekeeping..
After all even a minor touch of sincerity from a conservative on Obama is as rare as a snowflake in June.
It's Ok Professor there wasn't any prize for winning the game.
Now lets get back to our usual bickering, you partisan ice hole

Ok, I'll buy that, so then what your saying is Obama was in charge and Benghazi can be officially declared his fault. Four murdered, while Obama slept. What a leader.

You see, you prove you are a low information voter by intalling Limbaugh into a conversation. He is prove to be right 98.7% of the time. Sounds like someone you should listen to instead of Obama's constant lies.
