In this July 18, 2018, photo, Supreme Court nominee Judge Brett Kavanaugh smiles during a meeting with Sen. Mike Lee, R-Utah, a member of the Judiciary Committee, on Capitol Hill in Washington. No law can be changed by the Supreme Court if it comes before them, and is good Law. No previous law can be altered by the Supreme Court, if it is good law. Yes, a law can be looked at again, but if it is good law it will stand. What are the dissidents afraid of?

Actually, the law can be changed if the court finds any aspect of it to be unconstitutional. That said, I think the legal reasoning that brought marriage equality on the national scene is unlikely to be overturned. There isn't really a constitutional "solution" wherein it can be claimed that homosexual are not people, and as such have a right to be treated equally under the law via the 14th Amendment.

Your babbling is just circularly opining that laws and rulings you don't like are not good ones. You aren't saying anything about Kavanaugh or about the Court or about precedent or about stare decisis.

The screaming, jumping up, and down, wild eyed banshees are not worried about gay marriage as much as they are worried about the life of the unborn child guaranteed in the Declaration of Independence. There are several parts of the Abortion ruling that can be challenged, and if it comes before a Constitutional Supreme Court it could be struck down.

Kavanaugh wouldn't change anything right now it is a 5-3 court anyway. If the crazies really want to dance the next Supreme seated by the President will change the court for the next 40 years. That is what they are really dancing in the streets about.

You aren't the sharpest knife in the drawer, are you?
The Declaration of Independence doesn't address the unborn.
It also isn't law.

The Declaration of Independence addresses Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of Happiness. Scientists have agreed that life begins at conception. If you don't kill it it doesn't become a tomato to be sliced, and diced. If you kill a pregnant woman you get charged with 2 murders. There is precedent. So, the unborn has a 4-4 court right now. I wouldn't worry about Kavanaugh if I were you, I would worry about the next Supreme Court Justice. She will be worth dancing over, and screaming like a banshee.

Kavanaugh is against any President being investigated or indicted. That's the actual reason Trump picked him for the Supreme Court.

The Supreme Court doesn't investigate, or charge the President. That is done by the House of Representatives. Only Congress can address any criminal charges against a sitting President.
