Congress reconvenes next Monday. We'll have a lot more to talk about.
Boehner's going to have a really rough time trying to get the Democrats' agenda through during the coming mid-term election year. He's likely to be forced to put an impeachment bill on the floor of the House this spring. His number one objective is to get amnesty for the 30+ million illegal aliens here.

Politicians and the federal government has no place telling doctors what they can and cannot do when it comes to patient care.
That's what was wrong with HMOs. They were making the decisions for the doctors and many doctors were taking advantage of billing insurers for unnecessary treatments, excessive consultations and having to practice defensive medicine to avoid being sued.
That's why costs were soaring. We didn't look at the problem. Now the problem is worse because the federal government has now stuck its nose where it doesn't belong.
But, but, but....you just said you wanted the federal government to stick their noise in state's business by forcing them to accept patients with substandard insurance policies. Make up your mind.

FACT: Healthcare costs have gone up less under the Obama administration than under Bush and the ACA will keep them from escalating. That's the whole purpose behind the ACA.

You probably should have kept reading.
"Those spending levels ignore the budgetary cap set by law and the political reality it reflects. The $552 billion requested in 2014 for non-war “national defense” spending exceeds by $55 billion the spending cap set by the 2011 Budget Control Act, as amended by the American Taxpayer Relief Act of 2012.
"Even if Congress agrees to a grand bargain altering the caps, military spending will likely face additional cuts. Republican resistance to tax hikes and Democratic protection of entitlements mean that any deal they cut will likely again target discretionary spending, more than half of which goes to the military."
...Gotta protect those entitlements and keep growing a welfare state. More votes for Democrats who just can't have enough people feeling victimized, you know. If they actually helped them to help themselves, they might start voting Republican.
no matter.

what is Obama asking for? was it not called excessive? so does it look like he wants to weaken the military?

where do you folks come up with that stuff? ex-military nutjobs on FOX? notice i said 'ex'?

Because someone on your side comes here and makes up a bull story about a dead daughter, you attach your lips to his ass??

I have a dead daughter, it was horrible.

Do you believe that?? LOL

Prove a dead daughter, or admit you're just talking thru your ass again.

Funny to see you call me names over something you can't know.

But you do that a lot, making a fool out of yourself, as you did with your no knowledge of investing and having to ask Eman questions about LED's.

I do agree. Part of my thesis was on geothermal cooling. More depends on the efficiency of the building being heated or cooled. If you have a well-built home that doesn't allow air with the heat to escape... and you can keep the doors closed with two daughters (easier than with two sons)... I can see a significant benefit.
I've got about 3400 sq ft on two levels. I routinely pay about $200 a month in (Texas Gulf Coast) summer, and somewhat less than that in winter. But, I don't have kids running in and out of the house all day anymore. I don't have a fireplace to augment the system. I find the key is quality of construction, creating a seal against heat transfer, which is most commonly caused by mass flow of heated/cooled air from inside to outside the house.
I'm a big fan of geothermal temperature control. However, there is another issue that nobody mentions. Everything is dependent on a source and sink for the heat. If you remove heat from your house, that heat is dissipated to the ground below your house. That heat is then dissipated by radiation through the strata back to the surface, which your house sits directly on top where the heat is radiating to, and by the movement of ground water through the aquifer. In a very high density of homes using this method, eventually in the direction of the flow of the ground water, the temperature in the aquifer being used will become equal to the temperature of the heat sources (the houses). The last house down dip will not see any benefit. The first house up dip will see the most benefit.
It was a very interesting study. I suggest continued application. We will eventually get to the point where we saturate the capability. Then, those houses receiving no benefit will have to be heated/cooled by some other method.
Hopefully, you didn't get any credit for such a stupid thesis.

Its the temperature of the Earth, not the water that makes geothermal work.

You can design a geothermal system that uses a single column of water, no flow at all.

A closed loop is installed & the holes grouted.

I believe medical care is fine for repairs. That's it. I read the article on the medicaid patients more closely. How is it possible for them to go to the doctor 143 times in 18 months and evidently are not repaired. Far from it. Where is the out rage from the left on their precious abusing the emergency room? They should get a job at the emergency room at that rate.

Provide a credible link that proves, "If medicaid patients do not take their prescribed pharma they will be dropped from the medicaid rolls."
Disabilities Rights Center:
Although you have THE RIGHT TO CHOOSE OR REFUSE TREATMENT, INCLUDING MEDICATIONS, you can be forced to take medication for these reasons:
If the hospital staff determine you are having a personal safety emergency, and they think you or someone else will get hurt if they do not act, they can medicate you against your will.
They can only do this if nothing else would work to keep you and other people safe. You must be offered the choice of taking the medication by mouth or by injection.
Your guardian can authorize involuntary medication, IF the court has given this power to your guardian.
If you are under a conditional discharge, and one of the conditions is that you take certain medications, failure to do so may mean you will be readmitted to the hospital.
Medicaid recipients who are tested for drugs are not tested for "prescribed pharma". They are tested for illegal use of controlled substances such as:
Drugs or classes of drugs that are commonly assayed by qualitative screen, followed by confirmation with a second method, include the following:

'Bill Nye the Science Guy' to Debate Evolution at Kentucky's Creation Museum
""Will Bill Nye deliver the ultimate science smackdown to creationists?
Ken Ham, founder of Kentucky's Creation Museum, wrote on his blog that the bow-tied television personality and staunch evolutionist would square off with him in a Feb. 4 debate.
"This debate will help highlight the fact that so many young people are dismissing the Bible because of evolution, and even many young people who had grown up in the church decided to leave the church because they saw evolution as showing the Bible could not be trusted," Ham said.
An email inquiry to Nye's assistant was not immediately returned. The museum had been hoping to attract Nye after the star said in a Youtube video that teaching creationism was bad for children.
"I say to the grown-ups, if you want to deny evolution and live in your world, in your world that's completely inconsistent with everything we observe in the universe, that's fine, but don't make your kids do it because we need them," Nye said in the video, which has amassed nearly 6 million views.
The event, which is titled "Is Creation a Viable Model of Origins?" will be held at the Petersburg, Ky., museum's Legacy Hall. Tickets for the two-and-a-half hour debate cost $25, and will go on sale Jan. 6, according to the museum's website.""

So now the Supreme Court ids lying when they say their job is to interpret the Constitution??
I'm happy to expose you as an idiot. If you choose to deny reality, at least everyone here can see it and laugh at you.
----------
You are such an idiot.
Here's the words from the Supreme Court itself, stupid one:
The Court and Constitutional Interpretation
"""EQUAL JUSTICE UNDER LAW"-These words, written above the main entrance to the Supreme Court Building, express the ultimate responsibility of the Supreme Court of the United States. The Court is the highest tribunal in the Nation for all cases and controversies arising under the Constitution or the laws of the United States. As the final arbiter of the law, the Court is charged with ensuring the American people the promise of equal justice under law and, thereby, also functions as guardian and interpreter of the Constitution.""
http://www.supremecourt.gov/about/constitutio ...
----------
Read that last line again:
""also functions as guardian and interpreter of the Constitution.""
So the Supreme Court thinks their job is to interpret the meaning of the Constitution's verbiage, but Dweeb doesn't.
No Surprise there.
This nitwit denies shutdowns, election results, subsidies, etc.
Now he denies what the Supreme Court's function is and has always been.
Why am I not surprised?? The ghosts in his TV and the meth made him insane.
You did everything but provide text from the Constitution to prove your point.

The government never shut down.
Democrats were stupid enough to program some voting machines to steal 100 percent of the vote, instead of one in three or one in four votes which would be virtually impossible to identify.
You still haven't shown any proof any subsidy to any American oil company exists.

Now, back to the post you ran away from. You have to provide text from the Constitution that you need interpreted for you because your ability to read and comprehend the written English language is not sufficient to do so.

The function of the Supreme Court is to enforce the Constitution (apply the Constitution to the various cases presented before it).

You are such an idiot. If the Supreme Court says the sky is orange today, tomorrow the sky won't change color. But, because the sky isn't orange, you will know the Supreme Court is lying to you, or is incompetent. This is why the Constitution is written so simply, even you can understand what is in it.

So, where is that text from the Constitution you can't understand?
