THE PHONE CALL

George Bush, Queen Elizabeth, and Vladimir Putin all die and go to hell.(No joke!) While there, they spy a red phone and ask what the phone is for.

The devil tells them it is for calling back to Earth.

Putin asks to call Russia and talks for 5 minutes. When he is finished the devil informs him that the cost is a million dollars, so Putin writes him a check.

Next Queen Elizabeth calls England and talks for 30 minutes. When she is finished the devil informs her that the cost is 6 million dollars, so she writes him a check.

Finally George Bush gets his turn and talks for 4 hours. When he is finished the devil informs him that the cost is $5.00.

When Putin hears this he goes ballistic and asks the devil why Bush got to call the USA so cheaply.

The devil smiles and replies,
" Since Obama took over, the country has gone to hell, so it's a local call..."

I get it.

Let's examine what would have happened if we didn't get involved in the European Theater. Before one American set foot on the European continent the Soviets had soundly defeated the German Sixth army and was heading west. Without American forces occupying the bulk of western Europe the Soviets would have marched right to the Atlantic and the Iron Curtain would have encompassed France, Italy , Belgium, Holland and the Scandinavian countries with Spain likely falling in short order. It would have been the Soviets that captured German rocket technology and Werner Von Braun would have been working for them.

Partisan politics has so polarized America that normal, honest behavior seems to be the oddity that stands out these days. Much ado is being made of Gov. Chris Christie’s common sense communication with President Obama during Sandy’s aftermath. Christie and the president working together for the good of the citizens who elected them for that very reason is seen as spectacular when it should have been the ordinary, the norm.
The attack of our embassy in Benghazi, Libya, on Sept. 11,which resulted in four Americans being murdered, is now used as an opportunity to gain political points. Washington Republicans and the partisan pundits beyond have slapped on the war paint, donned the camouflage and are armed to the hilt—out to get Obama’s blood at all cost.
Now there is loud clamor for transparency and investigations, accusations of a cover-up and incompetence, with those doing the talking all the while professing to only want the truth as concerned Americans and conscientious politicians. Give me a break. The only conscientious concern here is self-serving partisan BS.
Where was all that concern for our men and women serving in embassies and consulates across the globe when all the other attacks and killings occurred?
Like in 2002 when the US Consulate in the Karachi, Pakistan, was attacked and 10 were killed?
Or in 2004 when the US embassy in Uzbekistan was attacked and two were killed and another nine injured?
How about in 2004, when the US Consulate in Saudi Arabia was stormed and 8 lost their lives?
There is more: In 2006, armed men attacked the US Embassy in Syria and one was murdered.
Then in 2007 a grenade was thrown at the US Embassy in Athens.
In 2008, the US Embassy in Serbia was set on fire.
In 2008, bombings in the US Embassy in Yemen killed 10.
Notice the dates, all before the Obama administration.
Not yet convinced that all the noise over Benghazi has nothing to do with love of countryman? How about the biggest, most catastrophic attack and murder of Americans? As a New Yorker, Sept. 11, 2001, is indelibly imprinted on my psyche and I’m sure on the rest of the country. 3,000 perished in the most brutal act of terror in our recent history—all under a Republican administration. George W. Bush and his team had nine warnings that al-Qaida would attack within the United States, but they did absolutely nothing. No one in that administration’s head rolled for that stunning incompetence.
But Republicans now want President Obama’s head for Benghazi.
Here is an excerpt from the Ninth Public Hearing of the National Commission on Terrorist Attacks upon the United States, held Thursday April 8, 2004, where Bush adviser Condoleezza Rice, is being questioned:
MS. RICE: I remember very well that the president was aware that there were issues inside the United States. He talked to people about this. But I don't remember the al Qaeda cells as being something that we were told we needed to do something about.
“MR. BEN-VENISTE: Isn't it a fact, Dr. Rice, that the Aug. 6 PDB warned against possible attacks in this country? And I ask you whether you recall the title of that PDB.
MS. RICE: I believe the title was "Bin Laden Determined to Attack Inside the United States."
Now, the PDB --
MR. BEN-VENISTE: Thank you.
Condoleezza Rice also said, before the dust settled in NYC, "how were we to know?"

She hadn't been briefing W rather on world tours splainin to folks how it felt to be a powerful black woman. For his part W was flying around thanking his donors and also spending time at the ranch, clearin brush, ridin around in the F-250 and stuff.

Who da fk was in charge?

Paul Ryan Is Sisyphus, Says Bobby Jindal

"Amy Walter of the Cook Political Report noted something Thursday night on her Twitter feed that is worth looking at a little closer.

Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal's speech at the Republican National Committee meeting in Charlotte last night was an almost total repudiation - and dismissal - of Paul Ryan.

Jindal did not mention Ryan by name, and a Jindal spokesman e-mailed to dispute this interpretation (see below), but the 41-year old governor spoke mockingly of Republicans who are "in love with zeroes" as he urged conservatives to stop focusing on Washington and to "re-orient our focus to the place where conservatism thrives – in the real world beyond the Washington Beltway."

Ryan, 42, the Republican House Budget Committee Chairman from Wisconsin, is nothing if not a wonk, and he has made his mark in the GOP - and was chosen by Mitt Romney to be his running mate last year - largely because of his work crafting a Republican budget proposal and because of his expertise on the ins and outs of the federal budget process, as well as the health care realm.

Jindal and Ryan are both top GOP prospects to run for president in 2016. And Jindal seemed to be taking clear aim at Ryan in his remarks, with passages in his speech like this:

Today’s conservatism is completely wrapped up in solving the hideous mess that is the federal budget, the burgeoning deficits, the mammoth federal debt, the shortfall in our entitlement programs…even as we invent new entitlement programs.
We seem to have an obsession with government bookkeeping.

This is a rigged game, and it is the wrong game for us to play."

No jobs: penalize job creators and employers.
No wonder this country is on the skids, this is the thinking in the White House.

Now, imagine some asshole comes along and sits on you... no, let's say he squats to be safe. You're an asshole, I'm a bacterium, what's not to like?
The most amusing thing about humans is their inherent need to "one-up" one another. Whether it's a job, or an education, or military service, what ever. Inevitably. some asshole will come along and attempt to define himself or herself as, "being on top."
It's sort of like, describing "going south" as "down" and "going north" as "up." The world is round, a sphere, there is no "up." Neither is there a "down." I'm not even sure there's an "is?" But, when you look at a globe, it's always positioned in the same way. What's up with that?
Anyways, if someone like me is a "Troll" in your eyes, then you're a baby rhinoceros in mine.

I was told that it is just too soon to compare things like these because those people just died and everyone needed time to grieve. While I am so very saddened by their deaths and I too am grieving, I am also saddened that since that attack in Connecticut, more than 7,000 innocent human persons have been killed in abortion clinics. Since January 22 of 1973 over 55,000,000 innocent human beings have been killed by surgical abortion in America alone. It is not too soon; it is actually long overdue.
I am being told that I am just opportunistic. Yes, I am. I am using this opportunity to bring to light the senseless and brutal murder of millions of innocent children who deserve to have their deaths mourned. I am using this opportunity to show the hypocrisy of a nation who defends, protects and funds the murder of her own citizens in the name of choice.
The comparisons were meant to do many things, and one of those things was to create a buzz and get abortion talked about. It worked. When abortion is being talked about and the truth is being exposed, lives are saved. One of my goals as an abortion abolitionist is to never allow abortion to fade away as a non-topic. My goal is to make it so prevalent and so front and center that this nation and the world are forced to open their eyes and see it for what it truly is. Abortion is an act of homicide and I will take every opportunity to expose this until we see the abolition of the abortion massacre.
Twenty innocent children were killed in Newton on Friday while more than 3,500 innocent children were also killed on Friday at abortion clinics. Our President did not shed a tear for the children murdered at abortion clinics, in fact he supported their killing and has helped pay for it. Law enforcement did not rush into the clinics to try and save any of those children and in fact would race to arrest anyone who did. News cameras were not focused on those buildings trying to figure out just how many were killed; they could care less about the blood spilt on the floors of the abortion clinics.
Not only do I believe it is ok to use events like this to make comparisons to abortion, I believe we must make these comparisons. The fact is, abortion is a hidden crime that will not be shown on the evening news; therefore we must use every opportunity to reveal the horror that is the abortion massacre.

Might I ask a valid question? What business is it of anybody's what another individual does to their own body? Being that your protest is coming from a christian background, allow me to elaborate. The bible states that life begins when God/the Creator blows breath into the lungs meaning ; until a baby breathes on it's own, basically it's just a meat suit or empty vessel so to speak. I would never advocate abortion to another person, but I understand that it's up to each individual, their God, & the doctor. In no way at all does the process of abortion fall back on you or I, so in retrospect it's none of our business. By Christian belief they're abiding by the laws of the land who am I to interfere?
