so i wonder why Bushmaster took down it's site? reality? addressing a real issue? or just a harbinger of what's to come after Cerberus Capital Management decided it was time to get out?
If a bunch of Marxists begin disappearing people, do you think anyone is going to make themselves visible?
If a bunch of radicals go on a rampage, do you think anyone is going to make themselves visible?
You need to get in touch with reality.
... hmmmmmmm. Now, where was that the problem in recent events?

Coulda shoulda woulda doesn't amount to much.
You can guess that Lanza's body armor wouldn't stop a round, or that armed security would get off a head shot, or that Lanza wouldn't have been gunning for the guard first, or that he wouldn't have picked some other tightly packed soft target like a temple or movie theater. Coulda shoulda woulda doesn't mean much to the insane, either.
I don't have to guess that he chose an unguarded school and attacked the most defenseless crowd he could find. Then, instead of waiting to fight it out with the armed people that would inevitably blow him into the next dimension, he kills himself.
Case closed. His target was the most defenseless victims he could find, and the prospect of him actually having to fight it out with people equally well armed caused him to kill himself before the fight started. So, any body armor he may have worn was just part of his costume. He had no intention of putting it to its intended use.
Just the presence of an armed guard at that school would have prevented this.

Japan, England, most of all European countries except where compulsory military service is required then gun ownership goes with that, the only one that compares with a no rules gun ownership is in the middle east. It has sure worked out for them hasn't it ? The rest all have at least half the mortality rate with fire arms.
and this is what is so ironic with your argument, almost half the fatalities with gun shot in the US is with a household weapon of a family that is supposed to protect. That either ends up as a quick solve to a domestic dispute or in the other extreme another member of a household getting their hands on a weapon who is unstable.
So makes you wonder how much protection it gives ?
Obama is using the gun control issue as another diversion from his rotten economy and his unwillingness to engage in meaningful deficit reduction.

Obama knows this is a losing issue in the long run, but then he doesn't need to worry about that.

A suicide mission against an armed guard or an armed self ended in suicide.
According to reports, he had been in a conflict with 4 teachers at the school the previous day, and that was far more likely to play the major part in his choices than just selecting a nice venue for a day's outing of recreational mass murder.
