Seriously? You all on the left are having a hissy fit because Romney mentioned reports of private security firms at the Olympics not having enough people and a supposed strike of the immigration and customs officials as not being exactly encouraging - IN THIS DAY AND AGE?<quoted text>
Too bad he didn't just start singing "Who Let the Dogs Out, woof, woof"
Sheesh kabob. His concerns should be looked upon as commendable considering a major world event like this would be the perfect opportunity for a major terrorist attack.
British leaders only had to say all measures were being taken to provide the proper security. Instead, some of them got all uppity.
And how come Romney's other comment isn't being reported?
"My experience with regards to the Olympics is it is impossible for absolutely no mistakes to occur," he said. "Of course, there will be errors from time to time, but those are all overshadowed by the extraordinary demonstrations of courage, character and determination by the athletes."
As for the meeting with the MI6 Chief, Sir John Sawers, apparently meets with "lots of people" according to the British foreign press office even though they added, "but we don’t give a running commentary of any of these meetings."
So when did Romney give a "running commentary" on that meeting? And if this person meets "lots of people" what's the big dang deal he met with Romney too?
It's hard to believe. You guys on the left.
