Was Libya attack planned?

U.S. officials and Middle East analysts said Wednesday that an attack on the U.S. Consulate in eastern Libya that killed four Americans may have been planned by extremists and inspired by al-Qaeda. The U.S. Ambassador to Libya, J. Christopher Stevens, and three other Americans were killed Tuesday in an assault on the consulate in the city of ... (more) Full Story

And so quietly, almost off-handedly, the Rubicon has been crossed. The United States of America, whose blood and treasure have been spilled fighting terrorism, is jumping into bed with radical Islamists. By approving a role for the Muslim Brotherhood in a new Egyptian government, the White House is taking its engagement policy to a dangerous level. American taxpayer dollars will now help sustain the oldest Islamist group, one that helped launch Osama bin Laden on his murderous quest.

Perhaps this day was inevitable for an administration that refuses to say “Islamic terrorists,” and claims “jihad” can be a good thing and Hezbollah has “moderate” elements. But it is hardly inevitable that the Kumbaya approach will bring peace to the Middle East. More likely, it will be seen as Western weakness and beget even more violence against America and our allies. The decision applies to Egypt, but it won’t stay in Egypt. Nearly every Arab government is fighting radical groups that aim to eliminate our presence, Israel and Western-friendly leaders. Imagine what those leaders think about our willingness to endorse the Muslim Brotherhood, which helped spawn Hamas and similar groups.

We have pulled the rug out from under our allies.

BAGHDAD, Iraq, JULY 13, 2009 ( Zenit.org ).- Seven Christian churches were bombed in new wave of attacks in Baghdad, leaving at least 4 dead and 35 injured.
An explosion this morning near Our Lady of Fatima Church in eastern Baghdad marked the seventh bombing of Chaldean and Orthodox Churches since Saturday. The previous bombings took place at two churches in the western part of the city Saturday night, three churches Sunday afternoon, and one Sunday evening. Aid to the Church in Need reported that St. Mary's Chaldean Church was damaged by a car bomb Sunday evening that exploded as parishioners were leaving Mass. Other attacks targeted St. George's Church and St. Joseph's Church. Most of the church buildings sustained damage. The aid agency reported that the continued violence against Christians has already forced 200,000 to flee to neighboring countries, while some 50,000 have taken refuge in northern Iraq. Thus, the Christian community in the region has dropped from an estimated 1 million in 2003 to less than 400,000 currently.

Consulate Attack: NATO Stooge Ludicrously Points Finger at Gaddafi Loyalists

While the establishment media has engaged in a concerted effort to bury the fact that todayÂ’s attack on a U.S. Consulate in Benghazi was carried out by the same extremists the U.S. armed during the overthrow of Colonel Gaddafi, LibyaÂ’s Ambassador to Washington Ali Aujali launched his own lame attempt to shift the blame, ludicrously pointing the finger at Gaddafi loyalists.

“We know that Qaddafi’s associates are in Libya. Of course, they took this chance to infiltrate among the people,” Aujali said in today in an interview.

“His claim contradicts most reports, which place the blame on radical Islamist groups that claimed to be reacting to an obscure American film they viewed as insulting to Islam. Aujali said that the Libyan government has intelligence that unspecified Qaddafi forces were involved,” reports Foreign Policy.

This is a great day for jubilation throughout the world for all honorable and decent people!!!

Just before in the news I heard that four US terrorists have been whacked in Benghazi, the town where Libya's al Qaeda has its roots and where Obama's death squads supplied it with arms and ammo to slaughter the Libyan people and eventually murder one of the most gracious and honorable statesmen in history, namely Colonel Muammar Gaddafi.

The Hindus and Buddhists might call it karma, and for me, a righteous Christian, the sweetest, most exhilarating and joyous news is that US ambassdor Chris Stevens, the terrorist "liaison officer" between al Qaeda and the US government has been brutally killed and dragged along the ground, his shirt off and strangled before his death.

And here is the photo that I'm going to print out and hang above my bed to remember the power of a just God who always sees and never forgets:

https://twitter.com/TracyJeffords/status/2458...

May Colonel Gaddafi enjoy the fruits of paradise and may ambassador Chris Stevens rot in hell.
I don't think its very nice to rejoice in the death of someone ..and to use the sacred name of Allah and prophet Mohamed in doing so... That is really haram.... You are a Christian so why are you using the name of the prophet Mohamed and name of Allah to celebrate the unlawful death of a person??? That is sick...

Yes the USA armed the very terrorists that they sold arms to Qaddafi to fight against, yes the very people many of whom were trained and fought along side the Taliban ... The USA and such like used their age old dirty tactic of divide and conquer and are continuing to do so....

Libya was a safer place under the rule of Qaddafi now it is chaos and destroyed ....

But really your hateful rant just feeds the islamaphobic fire,,,, you should stop yourself.... If you care about those who are muslim and those who live in the middle east....It is wrong to celebrate a persons death whether Muslim or not....

I'm not proud of people like you

Millions of dollars of aid, yet no Bodies to protect the U.S soil in other places?

People should not be able freely come to embassy and protest.
ALL peaceful protest should be given a notice at hand.

Those who broke that rule, should be given a warning then if situation aggravates the US embassy security should be able to take actions that pertain to the conditional situation.
Why wasn't there more security in Libya .... Well Libya was destroyed along with their security services.... To be honest the USA shouldn't have placed any embassy staff there .... That's just common sense

Is Muhammad Movie a Contrived Fraud?

Bizarre story behind film that supposedly sparked middle east unrest

An anti-Muslim film that has been blamed for the attacks on U.S. embassies in Egypt, Libya and Yemen is likely a contrived fraud designed to stir up unrest in the Middle East while shielding the true reasons behind the murder of Ambassador Chris Stevens.

Woodstick any person who wields a gun and opposes what western governments want is branded al Qaeda .... Al Qaeda is a brand name.... Americans only seem to understand slogans, catchy phrases and umbrella terminology

Al Qaeda doesn't exist.... It is not an organised terrorist entity like you have all been lead to believe.... It is highly impossible and unlikely

If it were true which it is not... They would be causing far more havoc....

It is more likely they are smaller factions, independent groups who are fighting for their own cause rather under the premise of al Qaeda ....

What is the mission of al Qaeda exactly??? Do they have a mission statement ????? What are they supposedly fighting for???? No they don't have one because they do not exist....

Just waiting for the USA to extend al Qaeda to South America .....

The "Arab Spring" has proven to be largely a failure. Tyrannical despots have been replaced in each instance by equally brutal armed gangs of fanatics that are unstable and ill equipped to govern. Obama, in his hatred for Western hegemony and status quo has helped topple repressive, but stable governments in Libya, Egypt, Syria and elsewhere...following the path of Bush's mistake of ousting Saddam.
Muslims are not suited to our notions of democracy and freedom. They are so unprincipled and of disorderly character that they cannot but be ruled by Stalin-like regimes. At any rate, North Africa and the Middle East will be in a cyclone of chaos for another 50 years (at least) and....hopefully.....Western nations will be able to continue to plunder their resources for the greater good of the civilized world. In the end, nothing changes.

The sovereignty of nations like Iraq and Libya is subordinate to Western interests. The west invented and built the modern world and its humanistic values. As such, we are the stewards of the human race.
