What the hell is this all about?

"On the eve of his first debate with President Obama, Mitt Romney indicated that he was considering a uniform deduction for most tax payers –$17,000 was the figure mentioned – as a way to pay for his proposed reform, which includes $5 trillion in across-the-board cuts."

Romney making up weird tax cuts and "reforms" as he goes, as a way of leading into a debate with Obama?

Yeah, THAT'LL work, Mittens. Just make s--t up. That'll win the debate with the President, you doofus.

LOL!

And why say "across the board cuts" when you're NOT GOING TO CUT DEFENSE SPENDING, Mittens? You KNOW you're not, so why lie?

You want cuts to entitlements, cuts to Public Broadcasting and the Arts, cuts to everything your fellow Righties hate. If you even TALKED about cutting Defense, they'd crucify you.

Sheesh...what a tool.

Will Romney tell the American people the truth about the crushing of the American economy and national security if Obama continue his rule as ‘destroyer of America’ for his foreign new world order? Undoubtedly, the worst enemy of Obama and his liberal faceless media that unconditionally support him with lies to the American people is the truth about America that is falling apart and collapse like house of cards and the American people who can lose their independence to foreign hostile countries that give loans to Obama. Will the American people realize that Obama told them lies during four years and that they could lose their homes and lifetime savings if the Naked Emperor continue throwing our money down the drain and multiplying American people debts to reach more than $200,000 per average family? Will college students go blind after Obama when their studies will bring them outrageous debt with no job in sight and no future under the Obama doctrine of million troubling regulations and no oil-drilling? Will the fact that the Obama media will not be there on the podium to protect Obama from the truth wake up the American young generation that his future is in dire condition and could be worth during the following four years? Will the new Obama healthcare scam drive Doctors, drug companies and hospitals to bankruptcy leaving millions of Americans to die without any health treatment care except pain Killers by nurses? The future of America is in the hands of few million ignorant Americans that were brainwashed by the Obama media led by the NY Times, AP and ABC who go blind after the reckless and America hating Obama who drives America over the cliff for a new Mozlem Brother communist world order where America will become the welfare country of the poor of the world.

Jeffy "It's Time to be a Rightie Terrorist" Brightone posts yet another pile of smelly spam on Topix, though he can't back it with facts and is too much a coward to defend it. That's why many of us see Jeffy as a program, not a person. He shows no signs of humanity whatsoever.

Bush's recession "buried the Middle Class," which is what Biden was saying and what Righties have been deliberately misinterpreting.

When did a Rightie ever tell the truth, though?:)

While some of what Romney said sounded plausible, I kept remembering those words he said in private to his rich buddies about the 47%, and how condescending and hateful that was.

Romney is two-faced and nothing he says can be trusted. Last night he danced around the topic of protecting the rich, but the message came across loud and clear.

He's absolutely convinced if he cuddles the rich - those job creators - that these companies will hire people. Oh, Romney...either you're very smart or very stupid. Unless there are rules attached to these cuts that force companies to hire before they get a tax break, they'll just put that extra money in their pocket and continue to work to death the people they have. They'll hire NO ONE because they've learned to work with a skeleton crew.

My ears perked up when it was said that anyone 54, 55 and under would be affected by Romney’s changes in Social Security. That A-hole. Here I am within sight of my SS and you watch that jackass raise the retirement age to 110. What does HE care? He has no retirement worries. He could quit work anytime he wants. But he’ll take it away from the rest of us. F*ck him.

Romney also talked about oil and coal in America and how the price of gas has gone up. Mr. Romney, as a businessman you know absolutely well that oil goes out on the open market and is sold to the highest bidder. We could pump every drop of oil from this country, but it would not lower OUR gasoline prices whatsoever. A pipeline? Just who do you think THAT would benefit? The American people? Methinks you have a pipe dream.

Romney would look down his nose at me if he knew me. To him working people are a necessary evil and deserve as little respect and help as possible. He wants a plutocracy, of which a large portion of Americans would not be included. I just wouldn’t feel comfortable with him as president.

How about you stop evading and deal with the actual post you answered?

ALL politicians lie, and ANY leader or politician may change their position on an issue. Hopefully they do it because they realized they were wrong, not (like Mittens) just for political advantage or votes.

Nope. Barack was supposed to end Bush's spending policies and HE DIDN'T. You can't blame Bush if you keep his spending policies going and ADD TO IT BY A HUGE AMOUNT. Barack lied to you. Deal with it.

A vote for Barack is a vote for more of Bush economics.

Facts are facts. Perhaps you don't worry about the burden the Obama Admin has placed on every head of household, however, I do!

Yesterday in Council Bluffs, IA old Bite Me Biden stated they want to raise taxes, not $1 Trillion, but $2 Trillion. Perhaps it'll be YOUR job that's cut by your employer?

Got a link?

We should be rolling back Bush's tax cuts for the upper bracket, if that's what you mean. Even Romney knows his math is bad, and that he'll never balance the budget without more revenue....LOL
