LOL, I guess you have to blame the actions of the GOP on the democrats. Both are in cahoots. And it isn't just the so called "green" companies. Lockheed gets billions every year. Just about every major corporations get gigantic federal largess, in grants and contracts, mostly to do nothing. For example, Most of the American car companies got billions to develop higher fuel economic cars. After getting all that money, and when they were supposed to come out with these cars, bush shut down the program and told them to keep all that money for free. Of course the oil companies didn't want higher efficient cars, that would cut into their profits, and they owned bush, so they told him what to do.
That is one example of thousands where large companies get the public's money for nothing. That is why the CEOs of those large corporations have billions in overseas banks. Our money goes not into the economy, but to CEOs, which they put in overseas banks, removing it from the economy, rather than investing.
You might try to claim you don't support our money going into the pockets of rich CEOs, but you still appear to support the GOP and that is all they do. It has been the sum total of the "conservative" platform since Reagan.
Notice I am not letting the democrats off the hook. They could easily be against this robbery, but instead they sided with the corporations against the American Public. Look at how Obama caves to every republican demand.
As far as the economy goes, we have gone down hill since Reagan took office. It's way past time to turn things around. The money just handed out to the rich CEOs should be recovered and invested in America, not by handing it back to the rich, but to get people working, rebuilding the infrastructure, revitalizing education, investing in the innovation from small companies to bring their products to market. This spending would revive the economy, only if we stop the flood of our wealth to the few rich families that now own more than 80% of America.
whose history---Ever since World War Two and the Implementation of
the Marshall Plan to rebuild poverty countries Almost every
President (some more some less) has tried different plans
to rebuild. In some cases like good ole Jimmahhhh Carter they
were willing to write off whole Industries----Clothing Tomato
farmers small car Industry etc.etc. etc. How many major
corporations began as one man's dream and the amount of money
earned was and is the measurement of a successful product that
everyone wants....cell phone... name your favorite entertainer..etc. The number of new rich has greatly increased
like those computer Geeks.By the Way How many of Today's problems
By the way---How many of Today's problems --- Like the
"Community Reinvestment Act" can be traced to good ole Carter!!!
I can name at least 80% of our problems.
