Q; Why does Fox News have a lunatic like Beck on it's channel?

A; To make the rest of the Right Wing Nut Jobs on there seem moderate...

These guys - Beck & the rest of the GOP apologists at Fox, Limbaugh, Savage, on and on - think most of the nation is with them in their fearmongering and Big Hate vibe of 2010.

They will find out otherwise, when every TBag candidate loses their race this November.

"First they came for Acorn, then Sotomayor, Van Jones, New Black Panthers, Sherrod, illegal immigrants, gays, mosques..."

Not in my America they won't.

Beck and the word 'honor' do not belong in the same sentence. Beck is an effeminate pompous ass! The million moron march is what the rally should be called!

I am not sure you can put "truth", "honor", and "Beck" in the same head line without triggering the Apocalypse. Or at the very least insane laughter from people who know those three words together are a epic joke.

Puts me in mind of that Sesame Street song:

"One of these things is not like the others, one of these thing doesn't belong...."

Beck's rally will draw untold thousands. His Radio and TV programs has an audience of millions. He makes millions every year and employs dozens of staff. Whatchugot?

It doesn't seem to be about power with Beck. He just seems to be trying to educate millions of people and taking up what public schools has failed to do. He teaches the dangers of socialism and communism in history and how it relates to the Obama administration. I think what he is doing is very commendable.

Most of the people who rail against Beck don't watch his show or listen to his radio program. If you press the "active" button on the Direct TV remote, you can see that his show is almost always #1 in its time slot. This would suggest that more people watch him, at least some of the time, than do not.

Like Cranky Old Man, who is probably really not cranky at all, I think that Beck has done a great job educating people who want to listen and learn. Since I watch Beck regularly, I know that he did not touch the Sherrod story and that he is not homophobic. He has repeatedly told his viewers that he is a recovering alcoholic and as such, would be the last person to express intolerance or a lack of compassion for others.

Because I come from the state that was denigrated by our President as populated by people who "cling to their Bibles and their guns," as if we are all a bunch of illiterate, gun-toting, snake-handling backwoodsmen, I appreciate the fact that Beck presupposes that everyone can understand what he is talking about and does not talk down to his viewers. I think he is an idealist, not an ideologue as our president is, and his idea of transformation is to restore the original intent of the Constitution to its rightful place in government.

Beck provides some hope for disenfranchised people like me, who are disgusted with the lies, corruption and hypocrisy that are the norm in government today.

The number of people who show up for his rally tomorrow will directly correspond to the media outlet who is doing the reporting. Every effort, even to leaning on advertisers to drop the Beck show, has been used to silence him. As long as people believe what he says, he will have an audience. And there is more truth in his observations than there is in anything that comes out of the mouths of the elected scum that slthers around Washington.

I have my integrity in tact knowing that I am not a 21st century version of an old west tonic and rhumatiz medicine sales man. That I have not whipped up my fellow countrymen over nonsensical bull crap causing them to lash out or to truly forget what the country really stands for.

But if the rally does not draw those untold thousands, FOX will probably just use archival footage of another rally with a larger turnout and claim it is Beck's; they've done it before...but let's hope this time they get the seasons right...lol
