True enough, but the GOP -- at least at the federal level is doing the same thing. Bush border security has enough holes that Arnold could drive his hummer through them hundreds of times! The fact that a non-white Republican was elected gov. of LA may just convince Bush all the more that he can build more support among Latinos if only he kisses up to Felipe Calderon a little more.

I have talked with Bobby myself a few times and was had the honor of working VIP protection for him while it St.Landry Parish. I think he will do a fine job and No One can make everyone happy. I just hope he stays on track like his plans say.

Yup..! I'll be glad when the last Mexican crosses the border, they can have all the minimum wage jobs they can find. Than I can move to Mexico, find cheap housing, low taxes and equal medical care. Since no one can afford medical care here anymore, and if they can, their broke after paying the initial deductable, say anything about the the next 20% and all the items the Ins. Co. won't pay. So if where going to die without care we might as well save the few penney's we have for low cost medicine at the over the counter drug store in Mexico where you can buy anything without a prescription. They even have your friendly WalMart stores there, you'll feel right at home.

Hi: I understand where you're coming from. But I don't really think you'd like to move to Mexico. You'd have absolutely no rights. The Mexican constitution has very strict laws regarding immigration. Even if you became a citizen, you'd still have no rights, like the Mexicans.
