I assumed nothing.

And that I have pointed out to a number of states that were not covered in your original statement.

Can you carry concealed in South Carolina?

Is Maryland a New England state?

Can you carry in Oregon? Washington? New Jersey?

You are a m/f c/s liar.

But not only do we know that, I proved it.

Expunged records do not mean the crime did not occur.

Or that the crime is not still available to the judges and future arrests.

Or that a bell can be unrung.

Let's say that you understand "expunge" in the same way you understand what are the New England states.

Did you say this?
+++COUGH+++ Said this as well, "I had to jump through the required hoops to get a couple of non-resident permits, anywhere I would want to go I can without any problems."

You will note the part about the nonresident permits & anywhere I would want to go. You keep wanting to bring up "you said first" so here you go!

I do have a majority, much to your dismay.
In reading back I never mentioned an IN permit (that I noticed) you inferred it and rightly so. My original statement, that still stands, was I can carry anywhere I would want to go. That same post mentions jumping through the hoops for a couple of non-resident permits (Post 60).
SC - still waiting for your answer and how you came up with that answer.
Maryland - are you still beating that dead horse? YAWN! You are showing problematic selective memory.
Oregon is in my list I can't carry (Post 84), Washington yes, New Jersey no (who can besides politicians, cops & criminals?). Honestly, if you want to know where I can carry and can't - go to http://www.handgunlaw.us/ and build a map. Then you can cross reference the states I can in a nice color coded map (red means no).

Take a deep breath! The name calling! Your mother needs to get out the soap...

"Process by which record of criminal conviction is destroyed or sealed from the state or Federal repository." (Black's Law Dictionary, p. 582 (6th ed.).

Since you are speaking of GZ and Florida in this tirade "When your record is expunged, it is literally destroyed. The general public will have no idea that you were ever arrested, or even charged. When a record is sealed, the Clerk of Courts is under a court order to not disclose the contents of your file to anyone.

Under Florida law, somebody who has their criminal record sealed or expunged may “lawfully deny or fail to acknowledge the arrests covered by the sealed [or expunged] record.” In plain terms, this means that you may legally deny that you were ever arrested. The greatest benefit to this provision is that on a job application where it says,“Have you ever been arrested?” you may legally answer “no” even if you have been arrested before, so long as your record has been properly sealed or expunged." http://www.ericmathenylaw.com/Criminal-Defens...

Now to apply for a CCW license in FL you have to put expunged records on the form. I suspect GZ didn't have them expunged but the charges were dropped, because he had a CHL. The only way we would know for sure is to have the authority to see the sealed records - and we don't. The news media is the bell that can't be unrung. They are quick to print a story of an arrest but not so much when charges are dropped or a not guilty verdict comes about.

Just because you "prove" things in your mind doesn't really prove them. I have seen you get owned over your "proof" and then either poopoo the proof or ignore that part of a post. But that is OK we don't care.

The Law Enforcement Officers Safety Act of 2004 allows officers to carry concealed in all 50 states and US territories as long as certain conditions are met... So my guess is that haztobesaid is an officer and can indeed carry in all 50 states. Before names are called and accusations made, it would be wise to check the facts before spouting off something you obviously know nothing about. And yes barefoot 2626, I can indeed carry concealed in SC, Maryland, New Jersey, Washington and Hawaii as long as certain conditions are met

Sure, I can go to MD, SC, NJ, OR, WA & HI. I can go anywhere I want. But, if I left the US I'd have to get my passport renewed. But I don't want to leave the US again so that is a moot point. Or did you make a mistake and want to know If I could carry there? I doubt you made a mistake though, a person as perfect as you would never make a mistake.

I don't know that he was a pedophile. I have no access to FL arrest records so I couldn't tell you. Now as far as internet searches (you should really try these yourself) the reports are all over the board. He is everything from Mother Teresa to Charles Manson.

"According to a records search on George, he was previously arrested for domestic violence, resisting an officer without violence and most shockingly, resisting an officer with violence — a felony charge that surely could have landed him in prison.

All three of those arrests, however, were mysteriously closed with no semblance of charges for the Florida resident."

Again, you can get arrested (even if you have done nothing that will stand up in a court)and never charged. But as you mention you can't unring the bell especially a media bell. I can find no arrest for his being charged with child molesting, perhaps you can provide a link to that arrest.

Have I changed or added to help you with your assumptions? Remember I stated I jumped through hoops? Remember that gave me two NR CHLs? Remember that I said I could travel anywhere I would want to go without any problem? You saw my IP address is in IN and you ran with an IN permit. You made that assumption. Your tunnel vision bit you. Then to repair your erred way in making that assumption I told you what permits I had.

Keep that catnip coming:)
