Shows the hypocrisy of a lot of people in the House, especially Conservatives, who seem OK with massive government intrusion into our lives as long as they can wave a flag over it or pretend it's "patriotic."

Invading our computers, phone lines, and homes...or women's reproduction...or bedrooms of gay Americans...seems OK with them, but invading a Fox News reporter's phone calls, the tax status of Tea Party Terrorists, or documents which put our military in a bad light - horrors! HORRORS!!

Professional politicians are all about protecting the status quo. Professional politicians do not want to appear unpatriotic. It's about image. The left wants to play it safe or CONservatively and the right does not want to appear too PROgressive. Wether it's about massaging their fragile egos or getting re-elected in the end it's about protecting THEIR status quo anyway they can. The ends justify the means.

If I had my way, all politicians would be lined up and shot. The White House would be burned to the ground. All corporations would be flattened.

...and they lived happily ever after.
