It's not just paying for it in cash, but in life style. As Americans we have lived high on the hog and that will end whether conservatives "believe" in global warming or not. Our abilitity to control the decline will be affected by how soon we accept and start working on the problem.
Too many liberals think we should bring others up to our way of living before doing anything. Ass backwards as usual.
Lets fix a problem that is not even there.

Hi there. Since you americans live in a fact -free zone, due to news programs that look to us like Sesame Street, heres are some facts:
Global climate change is a fact. A fact acknowledged by major Oil companies like Shell and BP (Shell Chairman Sir Phillip Watts recently gave a speech in houston warning American companies to change their business models 'before its too late')and by the UN the EU and most nation states and scientific organisations. The causes of global climate change, include to a large part the reduction of atmospheric sulphides and the increased emission of Carbon Dioxide (European Commission on Climate change). This has been known for at least a decade and the rest of the world have begun dealing with the problem.
Now you guys can worship Jeeesus all you like or go burn a witch or something, but the facts are in, if you choose to ignore them , you just continue to look like the country bumpkins you are.
"Global climate change is a fact. A fact acknowledged by major Oil companies like Shell and BP (Shell Chairman Sir Phillip Watts recently gave a speech in houston warning American companies to change their business models 'before its too late')"
If you're a business that many rich and powerful people are slandering and blaming for the planets destruction, wouldn't you jump on the bandwagon? Think about that over a Guiness.

"Global climate change is a fact"
Yes it is. It has been occuring since just after the "big bang". Has it not?

Brother, or sister, we are watching Kentucky.
VOTE CLINTON, stop the madness.

I've had a wonderful time at the Washington Chocolate Festival, and always loved Frankfort. Had one of the finest meals even in Bardstown.

The whole world is watching.
The head must bow and the back will have to bend,
Wherever the people may go;
A few more days and the trouble all will end
In the field where sugar-canes may grow;
A few more days for to tote the weary load,
No matter,'twill never be light,
A few more days till we totter on the road,
Then my old Kentucky home, good night!

We can't fix the ones that are there. Conservative realism based on negative cash flow.

Might wanna look at all those nuclear waste dumps and biological weapons dumps, and toxic nerve agent dumps that are leaking out west in Utah and Nevada. Be a shame if they killed you before global warming :-)

When the politicians force us into paying for GW and then later, when it doesn't happen, they'll say "see - it worked"... they'll take credit for stopping something that won't happen and they have no control over....

Global warming or no global warming, if the universe decided to send a huge meteor to destroy earth, I guess that would be the end of all of us, including bush and his war in Iraq.

Latest info from NASA is we are entering a global cooling period. AL Gore forgot to tell you that in his fictional movie and his 10 year prediction until doomsday.

We will keep running the clock Al.

the one riddled with hatred my friend is you. did i say or imply anything remotely racist? you are unquestionably an extremely ignorant a$$. you may be able to read but you certainly have a zero comprehension level. besides do you call everyone a racist who does not support BO? more proof how incredibly ignorant you are.

Not a bad record!
The most recent terrorists attack prior to 9/11 per Brittanica: " Although at first suspicion wrongly focused on Middle Eastern terrorist groups, attention quickly centred on Timothy McVeigh—who had been arrested shortly after the explosion for a traffic violation—and his friend Terry Nichols. Both were former U.S. Army soldiers and were associated with the extreme right-wing and militant Patriot movement...... Other associates were convicted of failing to inform authorities about their prior knowledge of the conspiracy, and some observers believed that still other participants were involved in the attack."

We have our own American terrorists. Sad, huh. Ben Laden has said he can destroy America from within.....All he needs are connections in the MIddle East Oil Industry. Hmmm.......

it proves how naive and inexperienced obama is. "Oh come on you terrorists. We will leave if you leave us alone. Please." Gimme a freakin break! terrorists and terrorist sponsored countries dont want a dialogue or discussion with us. period.

Well then disenfranchising the working poor is the fertilizer for that garden. Obama is already a good part down that path and we are still in the primaries.
