I don't have many hopes. Obama always caves to the demands of the GOP. The questions are, will Social Security still exist? Will medicare become a for profit voucher system? How high will the taxes become for the middle class? Will the post office be privatized and the prices go up 10X with a huge decrease in service? How much bigger will the GOP push the size of government? How much will all this add to the debt? Will the GOP bring back debtor prisons?

There is no solution. There is no problem. It's all a big pillow fight.

Washington has turned into the girls dormitory. Obama is chief cheerleader in charge. After his phony pillow fight with Boehner, they will probably kiss on the lawn of the White House, while wearing nighties.

Even if the fiscal cliff happens, Medicare Social security and medicaid remain untouched by cuts. The Postal service is already private and is subsidized by government funds. The GOP wants smaller government, not bigger. Will you blame the GOP, or will you blame the idiot in chief who spent this nation into the hole we're in? Will you pretend that Odumbo's failed stimulus packages actually helped or just paid off his financial supporters? C'mon Don....reallllly?

You talking about George W. Bush and the
two Republican administrations before him
who left Obama with a $14 trillion deficit?

I am beginning to question this idea of a cliff. The way these D's and R's are acting is like they did in the mid to late 90 with Y2K.

I say do it. Go over the cliff. Screw it. Enough of the games. If we are going to take the hit, then stand proud take the shout across the jaw. Then we can pick ourselves back up without the help of the D's and R's who put us in this in the first place.

Like the war in Iraq: just shrug off that two trillion dollars, 180,000 Iraq dead, 4000+++ US dead, be jolly and laugh off the oil going to China.

Yes indeed the tax hungry commander-in-thief and his useful idiots are out to get those who enjoy earning over $250,000 per year. Of course life is uncertain and those making over $250,000.00 have to deal with the fact that their income could stop dead in its tracks for a multitude of reasons and the money that went to obama could be the difference between paying the bills and going bankrupt.
In other words after the self-serving thief obama gets through taxing the over $250,000 crowd the idiots for obama will feel the pinch with higher costs and less money in their pockets. But the stupids can take comfort knowing obama’s upcoming vacation will cost the US Taxpayers over $5,000,000.00. It appears the vacationing good-times b. h. obama has no problem pissing on any and all taxpayers…Obviously he's the kind of arrogant filth who stuffs his face while others starve…what a turd.
So if obama has his marxist way why strive to make any more than $250,000 per year when the Rats will steal it from you? What an incentive that lowlife Rat b. h. obama is.

Attention lance lowlife!!! If Iraq would have been left up to punks like you and obama today saddam and his sons would be collaborating with Iran over 500 tons of Yellowcake. And today's little America rug frats would grow up to fight a much more costly and deadlier war...so GFY.

Attention kajoke!!! News for you...America is in the position it is because of dumbfuks who vote democRat. That's not saying Republicans are guilt free but they are nowhere near shoving something like obamacare down the throat of America and ending tax cuts and increasing capital gains, taxing medical devises, etc. or trading The US Constitution for the communist manifesto.
People like you who stand around all day in neutral and conclude it's a D & R problem got by with that logic when there was such a thing as a D & R. However today it's a R and something that dropped out of bill ayers' butt...deal with that fact.

75 Percent of President's Proposed Tax Hikes to Go Toward New Spending...In other words, the extra taxes are just to buy votes, and not to pay down the deficit.

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid said Tuesday Democrats aren't going to make an offer on spending cuts for Republicans and that it will be hard to reach a "fiscal cliff" deal before Christmas. SAME PLOY THEY USED LAST YEAR, put nothing on the table themselves, but blames republicans for not dropping their pants. Only the children would fall for the Obama two step.

I exaggerated. It was only a $13 trillion
deficit Bush left Obama,$8 trillion of which
he was responsible for.

Plus an economy losing 700,000 jobs per month.

Plus two unfinished wars.

Plus a 7.6% unemployment rate.

Plus the world's number one terrorist still
on the loose after letting him walk away
at Tora Bora.

More?

Most of your nightmare will not come to pass. Obama has an iron will. His willingness to compromise for the sake of getting bills passed should not be mistaken for weakness.
