Not a critical thinker in the entire lot. A party of illiterate IDIOTS!
My kids watched Big Bird, and I contributed....have you? Title's right, Big Bird IS one of the 1%, but that's okay in this case, right? Don't consider yourself such an intellectual because you can use words longer than 6 characters....it takes a little more than that.

Romney said it once.
Dear, it was a silly inanane comment - made once - and made to show rOmney is a silly little man.

Sort of like Palin when she winked - was it only once or twice?- and made herself look foolish and turned off alot of women who thought women - especially middle aged women like palin - should have grown up from their cheerleading/winkey winkey nonsense.

Unlike the nonsense of the smartest woman in the world failing at quelling violence all over the globe. She is terrible. We need grown ups in these positions now. Especially in a depressed world with many WMD's. What an overrated hag. And if you were honest, you would agree.

Sesame street makes hundreds of millions a year in merchandizing. The PBS CEO makes $400K a year.
Why are we giving them our tax money?

You have to know the Democrats are devoid of ideas when they cling to Big Bird to save themselves. Guess Bat man will save them in the next debate. So funny.

Romney had to use Big Bird as example so that the majority of Democrats would understand better. He's not going to get their attentions saying he's going to stop subsidizing programs like Antique Roadshow and This Old House. It would go over their head but citing Big Bird made them think ..No Way! I say, Yes Way! PBS can be self sustaining. We no longer can afford to pay for it. We have a National .debt to pay off and keeps on increasing if we don't cut off the pork.

Because they vote liberal? No, that's not it. It's because of the poor children. Without lots tax money the children would not have TV. Well that, and the 1%er salaries for the top staff at pbs.

We have to begin cutting something to reduce the huge deficit the Democrats caused in the last 4 years. Would they rather we stopped feeding the children then taking away their television? We cannot do both. If it is so important why can't their fathers at least cut grass, remove snow, something to pay for their entertainment. When we had children we took into consideration how many we could afford to feed, clothe, and educate. Some of these families start having children as early teens, never wondering where the food to feed them will come from. Is that fair?

Romney is good at using examples.

He isn't good at giving specifics.

He has been asked a few dozen times which tax loopholes he intends to close to cover his five trillion addition to the deficit and he comes up with big bird examples.

Name of the loophole?

big Bird is very easy to chop off because it isn't necessary. The tax code isn't fair PERIOD. Stop defending our current tax code. it's terrible for the middle class. You're paying too much no matter what rate when our Government is throwing our money away. wAKE UP! If Mr. Obama wins re-election, and his budget projections prove accurate, the National Debt will top $20 trillion in 2016, the final year of his second term. That would mean the Debt increased by 87 percent, or $9.34 trillion, during his two terms. That's VERY bad my fellow American. Bush and Obama hurt America's economy. WAKE UP! Obama twice as bad as Bush.

PEW: 18-point shift among women...

GALLUP: 5-POINT ROMNEY BOUNCE...

MILITARY TIMES POLL: R 66% O 26%...

POLL: Romney leads among independents 51-35...

'Enthusiasm' gap 13-point spread for Republican...
