China's one child policy is an enforcement of birth control, the extreme opposite of Santorum. Forcing 'free' birth control is closer to that position.
that's not really true.
in China they give birth to their unwanted children and leave them in the street.

Say, are you the source of this quote?

I'm guessing that Jill is asking if you're the source of the quote because it's showing up all over the internet being attributed to Obama.

Do you realize that your brilliant quote is being used all over the internet? Frequently shown as something that Obama said?
Nice work, anyway, even if you're not getting any credit.

Theoretically, I would agree, but if you allow an employer to pick and choose what coverage he gives to his employees then you run into people that might say.......
"I'm a Christian Scientist, so transfusion isn't covered for my employees"
or
"I don't like 'the gays', so AIDS treatments/prescriptions are not covered"
or
"I don't think people should immunize their kids, so that's not covered for the children of my employees"
.
do you see how this is a slippery slope?
when you allow ANY religion to dictate policy, in ANY form, it will become a civil rights issue.
It's only a civil rights violation when it's done by a government entity. Private organizations can make their own rules about employees, members, etc. That's why you can't just walk into a Mason's Meetinghouse and expect them to a)let you in, b)make you a member, c)give you a job, or in any other way just treat you like someone else. I am reminded of a woman who won a golf championship, where one of the prizes was a year's membership to a private country club... where only men can be members. She was denied that part because she could not become a member.
Work places are private enterprises (unless owned by a government entity), and not only do they not have to give any employee health insurance, they can pick and choose what plan they think is best. If an employee doesn't like it, they have the right to go somewhere else. Same with pay, working conditions, etc. My parents owned a non-union glass shop. Sounds horrible, doesn't it? They would not allow employees to be members of the glass worker's union. Those tyrants. Yes, those tyrants who gave their employees more money per hour, and not only health insurance but a full retirement package. Because they could write their own rules and didn't have to bend to the will of some other group/organization. Their employees thanked them by working for them for, in the case of one man, thirty years. Sounds like not having a union was a mean thing to do still?
In the end, when the workers can take their labor somewhere else, they control how they are treated. And nothing created by the government will ever be as good a bargaining chip, nor will ever be as effective or create more jobs. When you force an employer to do something, they hire less people. You force them to give everyone some insurance that someone else has picked, they will hire less people to cover the cost. Everyone needs to earn a living, even those evil people who own small businesses and employ people from their town and neighborhood.

Is this your original comment? If so, do you know it has gone viral and is being attributed to Barack Obama?

I wonder if you realize your quote here has been attributed to Barack Obama on an internet meme and it's making its rounds on Facebook at least. Great thought/quote, BTW.

Choosing the method of contraception that is right for you requires accurate information and the ability to communicate openly with your partner. Issues such as effectiveness, safety and adverse effects need to be weighed against convenience, cost and issues of trust and control. Mirena intrauterine device (IUD) is one of the most common used form of birth control. However, Mirena has been recalled due to injurous effects on its user. If you want to know more about Mirena and its side effects, there are articles that I bumped into at mirenalawsuit.us/mirena-iud-ca rries-with-it-some-serious-sid e-effects/ that may be of great help to you.
