Not really. This is another state government pushing their politically correct will on the people. This as usual was not put to a vote of the people. Libs always bring their agenda's through the back door.

Actually the people voted in Nov '12 to reject a ban on same-sex couples marrying. The legislators are just following the will of the people.

Wassup tick?!

So glad to see my home state supporting equality. I've been busy building a chicken coop, so I'm just getting caught up on the news.

Yep, it's keep the social issues in the news, and try and hide away President Obama lack of knowledge about what is going on in HIS OWN administration.

Let's it's

Benghazi (Obama was unaware of what was happening)
Fast and Furiouse (again, Obama unaware
IRS (oops, sorry Obama didn't know)
Tapping AP phone lines (yet again, Obama didn't know)

but President Obama sure knows how to spend time on the golf course.

This IS what happens when a NEOPHYTE enters the White House.

Claiming ignorance, is not leadership.

We do NOT have a MAN in the White House.

President Obama passes the buck, once again.

It's everybody else's fault, not his.

Obama = LACK of LEADERSHIP

ObamaCare is a disaster! OUT with democrats in 2014 and 2016.

Was your right to marry put to a vote? If not, why do you believe that the right to marry for Gays and Lesbians should be voted on by the general population?

I'm sorry that you didn't get your way and that the political process was handled exactly as it was suppose to be handled.......by the representatives that were elected by the people!!!

You HO:MOS say well over 50% of the population is in favor of your perverted marriage. So why would you fear for a popular vote by the people? I'll tell you why, because it wouldn't pass. You ho:mos misrepresent the facts about how many people are are on board with your perversion.
We aren't afraid of a vote anymore......remember we won 3 States in November and prevented another one from writing Discrimination into their Constitution.......but why should the right to marry just for Gays and Lesbians be dealt with through a general vote of the people? I mean if we are going to vote on one groups right to marry, why not on ALL groups right to marry, including Heterosexuals, sound good to you? Sounds great to me!!!

Heterosexuals have always had the legal right to marry.

Homosexual marriage, however, was laughed out of the US Supreme Court already, and since you're currently pushing the absurd idea again, prepare to have them tell you in no uncertain terms as a going-away present for Justice Scalia that you in fact never had nor ever will have a legal right to tie the knot and become homosexual squared.

Therefore please distinguish between political buggery on one hand versus an actual legal right conferred by the US Supreme Court that you've never had nor ever will.

Even if true, that in no way indicates the people would vote for homosexual squared.

The US Supreme Court case that is the current precedent on this issue came from Minnesota--and the Minnesota Supreme Court just upheld it as well.

The path toward AIDS and meningitis?

The path you want to lead us on is to use the digestive system as the reproductive system.

It's a dark, malodorous path.

But we don't want to prevent you from remembering fondly where you first met, in that glory whole behind the truck stop, that outhouse by the cabbage patch, as you tie the knot and become homosexual squared.
