The guy needs to resign.

Ask Nancy Pelosi what she thinks.

Also ask Diane Feinstein and Barbara Boxer.

This is California. A Democrat office Holder could be caught kidnapping children and burning them alive to Moloch and still get re elected.

This isn't fair to Filner or what pass for Democratic voters these days.

The Democratic Party abandoned their long standing commitment to women and sanctioned the practice of powerful elected officials using young female employees for sex when they remained in the Democratic Party after the Democratic President Clinton dishonored and disgraced generations of American Democrats. Filner didn't have sex with his employees.

Filner had no reason to think that being a Clinton Era "democrat" he would face any problems whatsoever by just telling female underlings that he didnt' want them to wear panties to work.

He is being wrongly judged.

Gloria Allred said that her client has a "right to sue" letter from the state Department of Fair Employment and Housing (DFEH). That's nice, but doesn't really mean anything.

Both the state DFEH and the federal EEOC issue right to sue letters when they determine that there hasn't been any infraction committed to warrant their investigation. If a person complains to either state or federal office about a type of harassment or persecution, and either office decides the complaint doesn't describe any infraction that meets their criteria for discrimination, they perfunctorily issue the complainant a right to sue letter so that person can pursue his or her complaint in court. A right to sue letter does not mean that the DFEH or the EEOC has determined that they have discovered verified discrimination or harassment.

Period.

Yes, that's right. When the DFEH closes a complaint for lack of grounds, they issue a right to sue letter. The filer can or cannot continue on his or her own, it's that person's choice.

Filner has been politically involved for decades, all the way back to the Freedom Rides. That was before Women's Lib, before Equal Rights really took off, even before hippy girls. That was before women burned their bras. Filner saw all that come about. What he sees in government are things that we can't even begin to understand, as he and his peers brought them about. There wouldn't even be a Gloria Allred and women like her if it wasn't for activists like Filner. He's an easy out for them, as they're taking a cheap shot at someone who made them what they are.

Did Filner ask Irene McCormack Jackson to burn her panties for Women's Lib? No? Is she a Mormon? If she is, then those special safety panties Mormon girls wear may have started a huge bonfire. Let's be glad she didn't.

Trying to get a kiss is sexual predation? Is that a registrable offense now? Meghan's Law pertains to kissing?

Guilty until proven guilty is the guideline now? Used to be fair and impartial trials. But it appears you're from out-of-state. Things might be different in your part of the country.

"Old times' sake." Old time's sake is where Filner is from. It was that era that brought this era about. The sexual predators back then weren't boys trying to sneak kisses from girls, they were rednecks raping and killing hippy girls and burying them in the desert. They were the rednecks raping and killing women civil rights workers. Why, they were people from your part of the country, now that I think about it. But someone wanting a kiss?

Now, you tell me what "POS" means, will you?

Are they violent? Oh no!

But now there's even another women who says Filner tried to steal a kiss. But this one was from before he was elected mayor, the same as the rear-end pitty-pat. So far, there's only one from his days as mayor.

Why take so long to come clean? Obviously the publicity. And again, no allegations of genital contact. Battery, maybe, but sexual predation is a different matter. Offensive and unwanted, those aren't rape.

You're pretty liberal with rape allegations. You definitely are the first to go during jury selection.

But, on a lighter side, with the Prop 8 defeat, death of DOMA, and the Gay Pride parades kissing seems to be something we see in San Diego a lot. Not just in hugging Hillcrest (lots of body smershing there, right?), but pretty much all over. It's the norm now, isn't it? So what's different about ol' Bob wanting a smooch? Isn't it accepted behavior now?

Or, according to you, the next time we see gays kiss in Hillcrest we should start stabbing. Your words, basically.
