The new NSA will be highly restricted in how they get approval to spy. They can't spy on everyone. They need reasonable cause, a Judge's signature. The Obama NSA knew what you put in you pizza order, way too much spying. We had to reign them in.

where's all the nay sayers from a month ago telling us how we were not being spied on? We're just crazy and the gov doesnt want to listen to our phone calls?

Well it surely seems they were collecting all that info. It sure does look like the "oversight" there didnt work as there were 1000s of violations. Seems even the head FISA judge says he does not have adequate oversight of their spying programs.

Looks like all the UK spy docs are about to be released unedited since the UK authorities decided to detain Greenwald's partner for 9 hours at the airport for "terrorism".

More like intimidation of a journalist.

Also looks like they did the same to lindsey, Snowden's girlfriend. Seems he is threatening to release the UK dump on the internet if they detain her again.

I bet the UK citizens thought those laws were for fighting terrorism too...

And then there is the new video of new zealand's PM simply walking away with no warning after getting some hard questions regarding their spy programs.(same programs that same PM had to apologize for earlier this year in the Kim Dot Com case).

Governments of the world are building spy programs to spy on the citizens of the world and they tell you its to fight terrorism; but if you are watching, its pretty clear they have other intentions.

It isn't as though we have no recourse. If you can't trust the Democrats to stop spying on you then don't vote for them. There are 2 important elections coming up in 2014, and 2016. Look at the Candidates instead of the Party label, and vote accordingly. If the candidate is an incumbent, and he has lied to you, vote for his opponent. They lie to us and think we won't bother to check out what they stand for, so do it.

Idiot children! The GOP has not been in charge of your security for 5 years. The Democrats expanded the Patriot Act to include spying on everyone, and your President looks you in the face, and swears to Allah "We don't spy on Americans." at the very moment Snowden is releasing proof for the whole world to see that that is a lie!! You have to be a brainless wonder not to know what Obama, and the Democrats are doing. But that goes without saying.
