Is that why you called me "Stupider" instead of Jupiter in one of your replies to a post I made that wasn't insulting to you?

I used to think that I was gay, it was extremely hard. I can tell you right now that a sexuality isn't a choice, you cant change it, it doesn't matter if you are religious. I think that all rights for everybody should be equal. I gave up on religion simply because I don't believe in some Christian values, but I do believe in expressing yourself properly.

<quoted text>So because the word "marriage" isn't in the Constitution, maybe that means I don't have to pay my rent anymore since "landlord" and "tenant" aren't in the Constitution either!
If you aren't feeling stupid by now you're even more clueless than most of us figured.
The protection of private contracts between individuals is in the constitution. As for marriage I have no problem with anyone entering into a marriage with whoever they wish. I object to the tax benefits and other special benefits given to any married couple.

you can tell a lot of people don't read the bible because God makes it clear that he condems such a act,no such thing of two people being married of the same sex.

but your god is a proven myth. and even if you wanted to take your moral guidance from such a cult, that is a piss-poor one to follow.

it would seem you haven't read your bible or you would know this...but cults fear education about their own workings. knowledge is the death knell for cults like yours.

You can tell alot of people haven't read the constitution, because they don't understand that God is irrelevant as a matter of civil law; and more importantly he has to be in order to ensure religious freedom.

You see, we have the free exercise of religion, not the free exercise of Christianity. So, to make a law respecting Christianity, is to make a law defying all other religions, ergo negating religious freedom.

If that doesn't sound so bad to you, think of this; how would you feel were congress to pass a law respecting the establishment of sharia law?

That's why politics and religion must remain separated.

Why can't the right build a grown up argument.

Advancing absurdities like this one only highlight the desperation since you can't craft a legitimate argument against same sex marriage. I suppose it must be fun to craft infantile fiction in lieu of a valid on point argument.

Bald faced lies and blasphemous trash, proving once again that you're no Christian. NO, Jesus' message is NOT "defined by the Bible," much of which is directly contradictory to Christ's message.
The Bible is clear on the acceptance of homosexuality...so much so that it's put right next to beastiality to remove any doubt...they are both 'abominations' to GOD....now THAT is the truth...whether you like it or not....
The Bible does not EVER condemn homosexuality, ever. It doesn't in the Old or New Testament.
Is beastiality an abomination to GOD????
The rare and obscure verses you pervert to claim otherwise are nowhere even CLOSE to "the plainest terms," proving you don't even attempt to tell the truth.
Homosexuality is not a lifestyle, and as you've been told over and over again, I'm not gay.
Struck out all the way around, Adolph.
There is nothing obscure about what is an ABOMINATION to GOD....sorry...

So, don't be homosexual if it is not in accordance with you religious views.

That does not give you the right to force your religious views upon others.

The Constitution guarantees the free exercise of religion, but also prohibits making laws respecting an establishment thereof. Ergo, your religious arguments hold no weight regarding issues of civil law.

the people that know your cult's god didn't even get his own creation story correct. a real god would know such things. a real god wouldn't lie about the noachian flood. a real god wouldn't condone slavery. a real god wouldn't contradict himself; certainly the god of your cult can't as he is infallible, yet he does just that.

a real god wouldn't be made up of re-hashed myths from previous religious cults.

the god of your cult is a myth.
