Poor Mr. King - he should put his brain in motion before he spews his ignorance, his bigotry and his hate.

Even Boehner has spoken out on this latest piece of republican hate:

"There is no place in this debate for hateful or ignorant comments from elected officials," Boehner said.

He added that what King said "does not reflect the values of the American people or the Republican Party. We all need to do our work in a constructive, open and respectful way."

But dear Mr. Boehner there is a drip drip drip factor here with republicant representatives speaking "hateful and ignorant comments" as you try and elevate your party from "the stupid party"

Since people hate "facts" here is some more:
20 years ago the dope trade for the most part involved Mexicans along the border selling to white Americans at a discount ( around 175.000 a pound and the white dealers muled it north and turned it for 800. to 1000. a pound. As more Mexicans moved north they started their own drug chain of supply and delivery. They opened up food joints in every town over the population of 500 and put respectable legal Mexicans in charge. These owners helped all the illegals running north. The huge influx of money was laundried through these joints. I have seen 3 joints in one small town and hardly any people having lunch, however at the end of the day they take 3 or 4 grand to the bank. The drug business has been taken over by the Mexican drug lords and by using their network of food places they have a near perfect system in place, this will bring money and money brings power. Within 20 years the white race will be a minority and will see some huge changes. I don't think white folks will like it.

First of all, I would like to thank you for your service. As a Viet Vet, I would like you to know the bravest man I knew there was a Mexican American who arrived as a PFC and left in one year as an E-7 with a silver star among other awards.

King used an unfortunate choice of words at an attempt at humor that was taken out of context. The entire speech was about securing the border. The speech was given at a rally sponsored by the Black American Leadership Alliance who are largely democrats concerned this bill will effect black American jobs.

This immigration bill is a corporate backed bill. Temporary immigrant residents are exempt from Obamacare. This enables employers to hire from a labor pool that they don't have to provide insurance for. This might even effect your job. The television advertisements supporting the bill were financed by Mark Zuckerberg.

As a professional, why would you be concerned with people illegally moving marijuana across an open border?

Who has any problem with Hispanic youths? The best boss I ever had was Puerto Rican. What part of [illegal] don't you understand? This bill will probably effect Hispanic Americans also.

He didn't slur Hispanics as there were Hispanics in the crowd. His remarks were toward mules transporting drugs across the border.

Didn't you even read the article Solidarity was referring to? Here's the quote:

"for every one who's a valedictorian, there's another 100 out there that weigh 130 pounds and they've got calves the size of cantaloupes because they're hauling 75 pounds of marijuana across the desert."

Nowhere is the term Hispanic or youth mentioned. It's unfortunate he used the word cantaloupe. I didn't know that could be considered a biased term either.

Now, you started the name calling and you can't understand why people give you a hard time.

Wow, its funny how someone reports a few facts to you and out comes the name calling. Everything I said was true, I spent 24 years as a Texas DPS officer and what Mr. King said was very true. One of my best friends was killed in Texas when he stopped 3 young "solid citizens" headed north to college I am sure, however they had a trunk full of dope and took down a fine man with a family and killed him. You need to get into the real world and stop being so afraid of the truth.

You must have missed the valedictorian part. It seems you're stuck on Hispanics. There are others. Why are signs on the border written in Chinese?

So, you're saying we do nothing about controlling or eliminating those risks? You want those risks to be everyone's problem?

Steve King is an insensitive and vacuous nitwit. So he didn't mention "Hispanic" or "youth". Who did he mean, miniature horses?
However I thank this blundering ass for his unwitting aid to us Democrats.

Democrats in his district might be the same way. I wouldn't vote for him if I were you.

He didn't mention Hispanic or youths was a response to Mike's post in which he said he did. Of course he was referring to Hispanics. Who else is running drugs up. He mentioned valedictorian also, meaning more bad than good comes across the border. Cantaloupe sized muscles was a poor choice of words, that's agreed.

DO you mean that you think every Hispanic is a criminal?Do you eye everyone that goes through your neighborhood and say I think he or she is a drug runner-as for me those who commit crimes should be arrested but I wont slap everyone with a black brush I have two Hispanic nieces that certainly don't fit your notion of what you think of what Hispanics are like..

No Mikey, listen closely. The Hispanics with the large packs full of marijuana on their backs crossing the border from Mexico are. The same as if a white person had a large pack of marijuana on their back. If anyone went through my neighborhood with a pack of marijuana n their back, yea, I would say they are criminals.

The people coming across the border break immigration laws and it isn't fair to the immigrants who go through the legal process at great expense and actually want to be Americans.

FIRST OFF calling me MIKEY is great way to turn me off second a lot of whites also deal drugs so what your saying if a white person who doesn't live there is in your neighborhood you don't consider him a criminal but a Hispanic is?Tell me if that white was dealing in front of you you give him a pass right but the Hispanic no?-sounds like your profiling.
