Speaking of deleted posts, did ThArious ever answer your question about which of our posts were supposedly deleted? Did they include quoted text by wtfari, by any chance?
Good morning Crow. Sorry I missed out on all the fun you all had last night.

NO they never answer question we already have the answer to. Just like the old man whitehair (teabagger) AND his 9/11 lies. They just post their own warped opinions they form from their fright right winged faux box pundits and very little else. Then wig out when I continue to post factual articles from all sources. Our democracy is in bad shape when we have to depend on Jay Leno to ask questions
Silvio Canto, Jr.
Jay Leno is a great late night comedian. He is good at what he does and I wish him well where ever he goes. Frankly, I'd rather watch the Rangers play at Anaheim but that's just me!
Again, this is not about Jay Leno.
This is about our republic, our president and a media so in the tank that they should resign and join the Obama administration.
We have serious issues in the country, from the Middle East to these ObamaCare waivers for members of Congress.

haha, laughing at all the repukes whining about the President being on Jay. It's 2013 and they are just remorseful they didn't use all methods to get the truth out. I love it when he goes on shows, especially The Daily Show. He is awesome. Rock Star President admired by most, feared by repukes. haha

Why no one should be surprised that Jay Leno asked President Obama “real” questions

The overwhelming sentiment coming out of President Obama’s interview with “Tonight Show” host Jay Leno can be summed up like this:“Wow, Jay really asked serious questions.”

Russia, Edward Snowden and the NSA were part of the conversation. So too was the increased terror alert. And Hillary Clinton’s presidential prospects. There was relatively little “Hey how are the wife and kids” chatter that many people expected.(Leno did ask Obama how he spent his birthday; it wasn’t a totally dry interview.)

No one who has watched the transformation of media — and how politicians have learned to take advantage of those changes — should be surprised, however.

Here’s the reality: As the definition of who is a journalist has continued to expand, the line between “serious” and “fun” has blurred. There are examples of this phenomenon everywhere: the success of BuzzFeed and the rise of “The Daily Show” and “The Colbert Report” as a primary news source for many people being the two most obvious.

As we have written before in this space, the idea that a serious journalist can’t have fun is not one that’s broadly held by the people who, you know, consume our journalism. Leno’s interview with Obama proves that the opposite is also true; that a “fun” person can also be serious.

While we see this break from type-casting as a good thing, it also creates opportunities for politicians to exploit.

Take the Leno interview with Obama. While Leno did ask “serious” questions, he tended to couch them by dismissing those who criticize Obama and then not really following up in a way that say, the Post’s Dan Balz, would.

One example. Discussing the raised terror threat, Leno asked Obama “what do you say to those cynics who say this is an overreaction to Benghazi?” That, of course, gave President Obama a very clear sense that he was on friendly ground.

The blurred line between what is “serious journalism” and what is “entertainment” allows Obama — and any high profile politician — to pick his or her spots far more often than in years past.
News can be made and/or serious questions can be answered by a president on late-night television. President Obama and his team have adjusted to that fact. Us media types need to do the same.

http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/the-fix/w...

Every president since FDR less Bush Jr has been on a TV show while in office. Truman, Eisenhower, Kennedy, and Obama all went on talk shows (but Obama was the first on the tonight show). Nixon was the first to go on a comedy show in 1968 with Laugh in for about 3 seconds saying those famous 4 words: "Sock it to me". Ford followed with a whole skit. In fact every president from FDR to Clinton was on TV with Bob Hope, but Ford and Carter did comedy with Hope. Reagan didn't go on Hope's show directly, but was taped and appeared on the show that way.

Further, many presidents have been on tv political news talk shows, like Obama was on with Larry King. We've seen that type of presidential appearance with every president since Coolidge

I agree, our family has pushed all generations born to learn to live off the land, plant, fish, DIY methods, to PLAY outdoors too. I am glad our generation didn't have them myself, I had too much fun growing up outdoors and learning from the hard knocks school. lol I think they will learn a lot from all the technology simply by searching for their own answers and way instead of just relying on their family's opinions. i.e. the generations of racist bred mindsets. Most young people don't see color when they pick their friends or mates. I am happy about that. We are ALL GOD's children. There is no segregated Heaven or Hell in my book.

I like Calvin a lot too. I bet he is so much smarter than he comes close to revealing here. They hate that. lol

According to a new report from the Heritage Foundation, there’s even more reason to oppose Gov. Beshear expanding Medicaid in Kentucky than simple free market economic principles. And over the next ten years, that reason is likely to burden taxpayers in the commonwealth with nearly $1 billion in expanded costs.

The Heritage report breaks down the costs and benefits of Medicaid expansion as recommended by the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, state by state. Their results show that the vast majority of the benefits will be enjoyed by only one state, which happens to possess the most bloated Medicaid program in the nation, New York. In fact, only ten of the fifty states will enjoy net benefits at all, and New York will swallow the majority of those:$33.8 billion of the $48 billion total benefits.

Unfortunately, Kentucky is projected to be one of the forty states to see significant increases in costs as a result of the proposed Medicaid expansion, costs totaling $846 million over the next ten years. The reason for this is that Kentucky – like most states its size – has a Medicaid program much more modest than states like New York or Massachusetts. As such, Kentucky won’t enjoy the cost-savings of having the feds pay for our so-called “optional population” of Medicaid beneficiaries - because there isn’t one.

According to the PPACA, starting in 2017 the feds will start to scale back the dollars they put toward Medicaid expansion in the states, meaning the bill will have to be picked up by Kentucky taxpayers. And also starting in 2017, the growth in the costs of Medicaid expansion will throttle into full gear.

Rush Limbaugh Drops 90 Pounds

But now there is less of the radio giant to love -- and hate -- thanks, he said, to his secret diet that has helped him shed 90 pounds since late last winter.

"It's just the easiest one, and it's the fastest. I'm 58-years-old. I never lost weight this fast, almost 90 pounds here since March 9, not even six months yet," Limbaugh said on his radio show recently.

Campton? I never said I was from Campton. I don't even know where it is. I have stated here once before I am a Yankee, born and raised in the North, you know, the ones you call "damn Yankees?" - the ones by whose fortitude and willingness to die preserved the Union, put a beginning to the end of the democrats KKK and freed the slaves!

The North was patriotic, thanks to the Grand Army of the Republic, who taught school children, love of country and pride in being an American. I never saw the "don't tread" flag in my town, only the stars and stripes. And as of late, the MIA flag via the VFW.

That's not a dream, it's reality. Go dig up your history books and re-learn what this country is suppose to be all about!!
