You do know that there never a Job, and the entire story is recognized by Hebrew scholars as being a didactic example of a fairy tale, don't you?

Considering Job was before Christ!
Considering that Jewish scholars agree there never was a Job.
"The Book of Job, named after its protagonist (apparently not an Israelite; cf. Ez 14:14, 20), is an exquisite dramatic treatment of the problem of the suffering of the innocent. The contents of the book, together with its artistic structure and elegant style, place it among the literary masterpieces of all time. This is a literary composition, and not a transcript of historical events and conversations."

WHAT A JOKE – to quote the man who was most opposed to the United States Constitution because he was a whiny little baby on what the Constitution means. HOW IGNORANT OF AMERICAN HISTORY CAN YOU BE? Oh, that’s right, you don’t believe in college for your children, because the colleges are all hotbeds of liberal, socialist, Marxist communist mind control.
Who cares what Jefferson thinks? He had NOTHING to do with the writing and adoption of the Constitution; he wasn’t even a delegate at the Philadelphia Convention.
Sooo Tootsie, If Jefferson was not at the Constitutional Convention, where was he at that time? Would he have been in Paris France negotiating a treaties? After all, Jefferson was our first Minister to France from 1785-1790, was he knot?
And since the Constitutional Convention was in September 1787 on our side of the Atlantic and there were no telephones it took months to exchange letters.
Yep, convention was from May 14 to Sep. 17 and an Atlantic crossing took four weeks to get to France and six weeks to return, you would be lucky to exchange one letter and one reply!!!

Hey genius, there were no American movie theaters 224 yrs ago.
And how many murders in any kind of American theatre since the founding of this great nation. For starters: A.Lincoln, but that theatre did not have a "no guns allowed" policy.

Editor's note: It's a presidential election year, so we thought we'd weigh in with our list of the five worst presidents. We start with, yes, the current incumbent. See our other choices at U-T Opinion online.

Why do you have to state information that most people knew when they were in prep school, but you are just now learning?
Do you deny that Jefferson was strongly opposed to the adoption of our sacred Constitution of 1789?

Because of the Prevailing Westerlies went from the North America across the northern Atlantic to Europe and "sailing" ships took less time sailing to Europe than it took for them to get back.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Westerlies
The same forces means it is less flying time frying from, let's say, New York to Paris, than the other way around.
Why inn the 1950's a TWA Super Constellation could fly none-stop from New York to Paris in nine hours but would have to make two stops, Shannon, Ireland and Gander, Newfoundland, and take 18 hours to fly back to New York.
Yep, the Boeing 707 was the first aircraft who could fly west across the Atlantic, with a load of passengers, without stopping.

EXCUSES. Just point to the most cogent EVIDENTIARY FACT (in YOUR opinion) that proves your president is not a natural-born American citizen. JUST ONE. Thank you.

The Lord's Prayer
Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy Name. Thy kingdom come. THY WILL BE DONE, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but DELIVER US FROM EVIL.
For Thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory, forever and ever.
Amen †
If you are going to quote the Christian scriptures, please do so correctly.

Matthew 6:7-15
In praying, do not babble like american lady and the other pagans, who think that they will be heard because of their many words.
Do not be like them. Your Father knows what you need before you ask him.
“This is how you are to pray:
Our Father in heaven,
hallowed be your name,
your kingdom come,
your will be done,
on earth as in heaven.
Give us today our daily bread;
and forgive us our debts,
as we forgive our debtors;
and do not subject us to the final test,
but deliver us from the evil one.
“If you forgive others their transgressions, your heavenly Father will forgive you.
“But if you do not forgive others, neither will your Father forgive your transgressions.”
=
The sentence,“For Thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory, forever and ever,” is a made-up phrase that has NO BASIS in Christian scripture and was never said that way by Jesus of Nazareth. But it is frequently added to the words of sacred scripture by those who know even less about Christianity than they know about the American Constitution.
HOW PATHETIC TO BE SO IGNORANT AND UNEDUCATED.

Why is it that the Roman Catholic Church that was founded by Jesus of Nazareth circa 30 A.D. does not recognize that apocryphal addition to the Christian scriptures as ORIGINALLY written in the first and second centuries A.D.?

Oh, the Bible was not originality written in English, was it?
WHAT COLLEGE DID YOU GO TO, rube?
The discussion was not about prayer (about which you are wholly ignorant, btw), but about the accuracy of a quotation from the Christian scripture.
HOW STUPID ARE YOU to fail to notice my phrase "and was never said THAT WAY by Jesus of Nazareth" which dealt precisely with the fact that Jesus of Nazareth spoke the vernacular which was definitely not English. CAN YOUR READING SKILLS BE ANY LESS?
