This would be a good time for Obama to sign ENDA into law

The article does not say why they were arrested. Were they arrested just because the Speaker does not like LGBT individuals or were they disrupting the business of the House?

OK, I'm hip enough to know what LGBT stands for, but what an LGBT "worker" ?

Is that like a gay guy who happens to have a job?

They must have called in sick or the day off to hang out in Boehner's office. I guess this in news.

Clinton signed one, and to my knowledge it has never been rescinded, so it must still be in force.

Yes the article is spin. "arrested for calling on the politician to support workplace protections." No they weren't. They were arrested for breaking the law.

this group GetEqual is a radical origination the same people that
disrupted a Democratic fund raiser last week I don't disagree with the cause, I do however not condone there methods. people want change you have to vote for people share your idea not just in major elections but minor and mid term. This is how these tea party people got elected in the mid term when opposition turnout is low
next November Mr Boehner is up for reelection, Ohio you need to get out there and vote him out. The time for the this it's not an important election is over there all important

I would imagine they were breaking a law or laws, otherwise they would not have been arrested.

I hear that earlier in the day a large group of heterosexual white men were hanging out in president Obama's cabinette meetings. Meanwhile, a couple of black and Hispanic women (described by one source as being attractive but of undetermined sexual orientation) were seen lingering outside in the hallway, pecking away at their iPhones with a look of consternation.

It would be good if Congress actually PASSED it first. If the President does it unilaterally it will become the tool to defeat Democratic hopes in the mid-terms, and will probably result in punitive legislations that could set us back by a good bit.

GetEqual is screwing up bigtime!

For crikessake! Take a lesson from these two scenes.

Amazing how much the original Constitution has changed from "white man only (land owners)" to emmancipation (free slaves), to women voting rights, to almost LGBT in the US.

So when will the Constitution or law recognize man-animals relationships?
