Look at this election. Two of the current candidates are running on a pure entitlement platform They want UHC, free college, homeowner bailout, an IPOD in every bookbag etc. That is how far this country has fallen to; elections based upon entitlements.

The most convincing outcome will occur when we "take our ball and go home". Then, when the "game" is over, self-sufficiency will miraculously be restored to a surprising number of the "needy". It's still true that Necessity is the mother of Invention. Happy Mother's Day, "Necessity"!

Pretty sad, isn't it? I doubt either will win the general election.

I hope you are right on that. However with promises to all and the UHC giveaway thing the socialists will be out in full strength this year. One thought I have is that with Hillareous or Obonga there will be a big sell off of our petroleum reserves to drive the price of gasoline lower. When the reserves are gone though, they will be gone and then prices will soar considerably higher than they are now. Couple that with the press dollars to fund the entitlements will crash the dollar once and for all IMHO

All in all it is higher than that. The Candians impose royalty type of taxes on oil production to pay into the UHC mess that they have. There are big increases in the royalties proposed, but apparently they are reconsidering some of them. What a mess

Thankfully, the socialists have a real credibility issue. They've had almost two years to "drain the swamp", yet the "wetlands" continue to grow.

I'm happy to say the media has a credibility issue with the public as well. If they didn't, the outcome of the mid-term elections would have been far worse. As it is, the Republicans' loss in Congress was earned, not coerced by the media.

Locally,(in Maryland), the Sun probably had some influence in a Republican governor losing to a Democrat. Putting it in perspective, though, Maryland is 2/3 Democrat, and the Republican governor was the first in 36 years.(When he won, he was running against a Kennedy - Kathleen Kennedy-Townsend, lieutenant governor!)

some people over doxication with republicanism, doest allow them to understand that uhs both:

-minimize the role of government in health care.it creates a separate scientific autonomous non-profit organization for that.

-it promotes monetary and fiscal health.taxation to cover uhs is really 2-3 % of the gdp, since only the employers are taxed for the uhs,the employees contribute in exchange for services.

Lot of students living here because of the University planted here. All of them are registering and into the Obongorama thing. These kids, generally aged 18 to 21, all say they want change. They can't describe what change is, other than they know they want it. They do not, nor never have paid taxes, most don't have jobs because living on student loans is more fun, and most have credit card debt because, as they wil say, the credit card companies took advantage of them. Change, lol...but they all say they are voting for Obonga

Thought the people who worked on the plan should view the latest letter from Governor Freudenthal

Dear Mr. Gray,

As health policy advisor to Governor Freudenthal, he has asked me to respond to
your recent message regarding health reform proposals.

In the discussion of the need to reform our health care delivery and insurance
system, the work of you and your group is welcomed. A number of the components
discussed in your paper are being discussed by Governor Freudenthal, the Wyoming
Health Care Commission and members of the Wyoming Legislature.

The Governor believes that in order to achieve any successful measure of health
care reform, we must address the underlying cost issues and change personal
behaviors and personal responsibility. Your discussion paper addresses
additional methods to realign incentives both in providing care and reducing the
cost of care.

Thank you again for your message to the Governor, and for sharing the in-depth
proposals developed by your work group. I am certain that the Governor will
continue to look at your concepts as the discussion of health care reform moves
forward in Wyoming.

Please feel free to contact me, if this office can be of further assistance.

Phil,

Thank you for sharing the response from Governor Freudenthal's office. The third paragraph concerns me. "...in order to...we must address the underlying cost issues and change personal behaviors and personal responsibility". I can only assume "we" is the government (whether state or federal). The government has no business "changing personal behaviors and personal responsibilities". This is glaring evidence that the "Plan" was misinterpreted by the governor's office, with the reason being that the single focus of UHC from a politician's perspective is nothing more than a powerful vehicle to gain further control over the population at large.

Funny thing, just now. I originally typed, "citizenship at large", but then I realized our current crop of politicians are only concerned with controlling as many people as possible, so I immediately backspaced and typed "population at large".

Certian information I can not post here on line however I do have contact information to the individual who is handling this, If you would like to contact them I would pass that on to you.

Any additional contact could be a boost for the plan.

In addition I have received One response from Maryland to date. Although from the congressional leaders I have received responses from to date want at least someone with in their state to formally request that they view it on behalf of their own state. The way I presented it was I and a constituent based on request to maintain privacy.

On the upside where you are, you or Chris would have the oppurtunity to also do the congresswoman in DC whom I also heard from today.

Now at least one in California has shown considerable interest I will do an email tomarrow to catch everyone up .

Had to take a couple days for myself ( was getting burned out so plan to get back into it tomarrow.

So far I managed to get the plan off to everyone's state legislators who participated in it and then some.( congressional speaking)

Got it off to every governors office along with every Lt Governors office.

Went state by state in aphabetical order all the way throuth North Dakota and sent it by fax to every senate office listed.

I managed to get this in every state but not in all the offices of the state but will start pluging away again tomarrow.
