That half white bahstahd sure knows how to use drones over another country's airspace though! GWB the great has NOTHING on Obumble's drone murder policies...gotta love that part about Obumble the neocon...the only good tewwwwowist is a dead tewwowist, as GW would say...

Al-Qaeda wasn't just planning a one-off suicide bombing of the usual variety—it was close to pulling the trigger on a highly coordinated operation in Yemen that involved blowing up pipelines and taking control of key port cities, reports the BBC. The news service also says US special operations forces are preparing to launch "strike operations" in Yemen, which would mark a significant increase from their typical role in providing training. The US yesterday warned citizens to get out of the country.

Meanwhile, the US launched another drone attack in Yemen today, this time killing six suspected militants traveling in two cars, reports Reuters. It's the fifth such attack in less than two weeks. The strikes are directly related to the newly uncovered al-Qaeda plot, though it's unclear whether any high-profile targets have been hit, reports the Washington Post.“It’s too early to tell whether we’ve actually disrupted anything,” a senior US official tells the newspaper.

FOR THOSE OF YOU that remember my dear friend from Canada...wonder where GJ Braindead at Birth and his mullah Raja are these days? Wonder no more...

Did a brain-damaged American help turn the Boston bombing suspects against the US? The far-right and conspiracy theorist publications found in Tamerlan Tsarnaev's apartment appear to have been supplied by an elderly man befriended by the brothers through their mother's job as a home health aide, the Wall Street Journal finds. A lawyer for the family of Donald Larking, a 67-year-old who suffered brain damage when he was shot in a robbery 40 years ago, says Larking was obsessed with conspiracy theories and shared publications with the brothers that questioned the Holocaust and accused the US or Israeli governments of being behind 9/11 and the Newtown school shooting.

Larking also supplied the brothers with copies of a white supremacist newspaper published in Alabama. He became so close to Tamerlan that he converted to Islam and began attending the local mosque with him, says the lawyer, who stresses that the shooting badly impaired the elderly man's "awareness of the realities of the world" and his ability to make decisions, the AP reports. Larking, who still attends the mosque, has sunk into "depression and anger" since the Boston Marathon bombing and believes his friends were the victims of another conspiracy, the lawyer says.

Excellent post.
The Democrats serve the elites on their side including Wall Street.
The Republicans serve the elites on their side including Wall Street.
AND MAIN STREET PAYS THE PRICE!
Look what just happened not long ago with Obama and the Republican House.
Republican NASCAR benefited and Democratic Hollywood benefited while average Americans paid more in FICA taxes.
That is the trade off both parties use.
Thanks. And I forgot to mention that they all honk their horns about climate change. A good reason people in Hollywood should be promoting Chevy Volts

I agree but something is causing the Ice to Melt.

New study blames human beings for half of Arctic ice melt
August 14, 2011 / http://tinyurl.com/3avcucb
ANCHORAGE — About half the recent record loss of Arctic sea ice can be blamed on global warming caused by human activity, according to a new study by scientists from the nation's leading climate research center.

The peer-reviewed study, funded by the National Science Foundation is the first to attribute a specific proportion of the ice melt to greenhouse gases and particulates from pollution.

Nice to see OBUMBLE the GREAT continuing his quest of changing perception of America the evil in the muslim world, eh frankeh? As promised in his election-reelection campaigns...respecting sovereign nations...

At least four people linked to al-Qaeda are dead after a US drone strike targeted a two-vehicle convoy in Yemen's Mareb province at dawn today, security officials say. While Reuters reports the drones, seen circling the area after two vehicles went up in flames, killed as many as six suspected militants, CNN says just four had links to the terrorist group; two others were civilians. That brings the total dead—through six strikes in less than two weeks—to 29 as reports of renewed terrorist activity in the area spread.

"Mareb was a previous stronghold for al-Qaeda, and a number of members of the group still live in the province," a security official told CNN, but not everyone is thrilled with the American decision to launch strikes. "The killing conducted by unmanned planes in Yemen is outside the law and worse than the terrorist activities of individuals and groups," says Yemeni Nobel peace laureate Tawakkol Karman in condemning today's attack.

I am so impressed...there is no doubt whatever GWB the Great did, obumble will not be satisfied unless he does it better...

Runaway ice chunk in Antarctica worries scientists
March 26, 2008 / http://tinyurl.com/mulm9kc
Washington: A chunk of Antarctic ice seven times the size of Manhattan Island has suddenly collapsed, putting an even greater portion of glacial ice at risk, according to scientists.
Satellite images starting Feb. 28 show the runaway disintegration of a chunk covering 414 square kilometers, or 160 square miles. The ice was on the edge of the Wilkins Ice Shelf and had been there for possibly 1,500 years.
This is the result of global warming, David Vaughan, a scientist at the British Antarctic Survey, said Tuesday.
Because scientists noticed satellite images within hours, they diverted satellite cameras and even flew an airplane over the ongoing collapse for rare pictures and video.

My video deals in truth and how phony the 9/11/01 commission was for not being allowed to dig deeper, and how Bush and Cheney did not want an investigation for 9/11/01, and testifying together and not under oath.

This speaks volumes too me.

Our friend MUQ is far afield and ludicrous to think the towers were wired and it was an inside job.

Alan Greenspan vs. Naomi Klein on the Iraq War, Bush’s Tax Cuts, Economic Populism, Crony Capitalism and More
September 24, 2007 / http://tinyurl.com/4dke67

In a Democracy Now! exclusive debate, former federal reserve chairman Alan Greenspan and journalist Naomi Klein square off on the Iraq war, oil, President Bush tax cuts, social security, economic populism in Latin America, corruption and crony capitalism. Greenspan headed the central bank in the United States for almost two decades. He has written a new 500-page memoir titled,“The Age of Turbulence: Adventures in a New World.” At one point in the debate, Klein asks Greenspan, " The policies that you pursued—deregulation, privatization, free trade—have contributed to this extraordinary division of income that is really the fuel for this economic populism that you’re now denouncing. Aren’t you the one that has caused this crisis of faith in capitalism?"

And what do you based that on? Scandinavians disagree with your assessment!
As of now the Great American Democracy turned out to be a Great American Failure because we have allowed most of our "capital" to be distributed among a small number of movers and shakers instead of the hard working populace! 50% of what can be owned or possessed in the US belongs to to the top 1%!
