The loss is not the fault of Mrs. Palin.

McCain and Palin both fllowed the neo-conservative-theocratic line of the GOP and paid the price.

It was their politics that were rejected:
The failed ideas and false assumptions which put our great country in a great hole.

Their combined fooloshness and greed is not just one of their fault; but is shared by all Americans who voted for these insane disproven economic superstitions. UGH.

Not just her fault, but the fault of all the lying neo-cons.
The idea of practicing socialists McCain and Bush accusing others (Obama-Biden) of socialism is just plain silly.

Not Palin's fault, a SEA CHANGE.She's just the outgoing tide.

That does not seem to be the whole truth. You betcha she cost McCain some votes. His positions on the war, the economy, his desire to be President at all cost and his choice of running mate were his downfalls.

Yes, the loss is completely her fault. She did more to harm McCain's campaign than she did to help. In fact, she did more to harm all women that want not to be looked at as a sex symbol and to be treated as equal, than anything has for years.
She was too sexy and flirty with her winking. McCain's choosing her let people know that he could not make a good decision about a running mate, therefore could not be trusted to make good decisions about our future.
There is no comparison between Sarah and Hillary, so if McCain thought she would draw Hillarie's votes, he was badly mistaken.

The loss is not Palins fault, it is the fault of the ignorance of voters in which in time unfortunatley we will see. We have to support obama now being the president, i just pray to GOD, he doesnt follow through with his plans.

This loss was God's plan. God loves everyone, not just the people you want. Now get ready to enjoy 8 years of Obama!

At least Palin had America's best interest at heart, that's more than you can say about Obama, Biden or McCain.

Sarah Palin did wonderfully. And I'll always like her, even if American women can't stand the idea of having women in high positions. Also the news media (our wanna be celebs) did their usual hack job on Sarah, same as they shot down Hillary.

The naive Palin was thrown into the fire in a hurry and not groomed for the job at hand.
The RNC needs to take most of the blame in their judgement of thinking that McCain absolutely had to counter with a woman running mate once Obama selected Biden rather than Hillary Clinton and it backfired.
Palin entered the arena like a house afire and the flame quickly flickered out.
She might re-enter if Ted Stevens loses his Senate seat in Alaska and she learns more about the Washington scene but others like Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal have the same idea and can't be underestimated.
The G.O.P has many wounds to heal before ever being of prominence again.

on the upside, now we can hear great things about the president and the economy and the house and senate since the dems won, instead of all the negative feeds from the media, they will now only tell us the good stuff since they are so bias.
