George W. Bush is merely the pathetic LEADER of the whole poisonous neo-con pseudo-Christian movement. Karl Rove is the puppet-master who now works at Fox News where he spreads the evil seed. The evil doesn't end when they leave office, it just isn't so obvious.

The problem is the lack of regulations.
Don't forget that we taxpayers had to also bail-out the corporate home building industry so it can continue to over-build over-sized homes and lure buyers who can't afford them with interest-only and other shady loans that the builders bundle and sell to wall street. We pay the price again when our retirement accouns contain stock portfolios that include the failed loans. We are funding our own demise. Meanwhile, our homes decrease in value with over supply. Congress should impose a moratorium on new home building by corporations and should regulate the mortgage industry. Then home values will stabilize and people will again start to make home improvements, once the values stabilize. At present, we are in a downward spiral and the criminal who brought us to this point will be long gone before we see the worst of it.

Herbert Hoover's grand daughter works at Fox and is trying to rewrite the history of the former worst president in the history of the United State Depression.

One day Jenna Bush's offspring will have a similar job.

If you think that's bad, wait until you see the new Democrat who will replace the lousy Republican in West Texas. The Republicans had their day, I mean 16 years, and they brought our once great country down, morally, physically, and financially. I feel sorry for you if you STILL don't get it. Stop defending the corruption. You look silly. Change the party or leave it. I decided to leave it.

Did you miss the following part of the story? Established in 1942 to "preserve and advance the religious doctrines" of the church, it is now estimated to be worth between $100 million and $150 million.

I still live in a great country; any time someone mentions morals and the democrats I laugh because Bill Clinton comes to mind. Did it ever occur to you that on September 11, 2001 our great country to a gigantic hit; oh never mind I forgot you blame that on Bush too. Carry on with your non-sense.

I think no church organization should be eligible for US Government funds, whether to hand them out or to keep them, or to decide about them, or to pay its staff with them; not to church-owned colleges or universities, not to their outreach organizations, their rehab centers, their social assistance agencies, nor to any of them. The idea of public funding of "faith-based" organizations, for whatever purpose, however good or bad it might be, is wrong. Oh yeah, the United States Constitution agrees with me about that, and always has.
