My God, how many laws does this administration have to break, how many times do they have to obstruct justice, and how much incompetence and recklessness do they have to demonstrate before we can get rid of these people.

I think of Bush as a huge anchor weighing this country down. Time to cut the line.

I would start from the VP - first

That should be a good first step, and then see how the world takes that - not to put on the back burner the fact that we are in a Global Environment and messy as never before - the guy should be kept in place, and asked to listen to the People who, after all, are paying his salary - no one else by Law

I do not think Bush should be impeached. It has reached the stage where the left has become so childishly hysterical about their hatred for the man, they've lost all sense of objectivity and now the man can't carry out the most basic duties as a president without someone screaming that "EVIL" and "CRIMINAL". The man has been trying to protect America from the VERY REAL threat of Islamofascism and because the left is not actually responsible enough to face up to this threat, anything Bush does about it is seen as some kind of atrocity. Bush is compared to Hitler and called worse than Stalin, which is childish, inaccurate, inappropriate and an insult to every single one of the genuine victims of those monsters.

Bush didn't lie. No matter how much you leftists roll around on the floor and scream like babies, Bush didn't lie. If he did, then so did the intelligence on Iraq from over 10 other countries, which were saying the same thing. Did they ALL lie when they said "Saddam has a WMD program and must be stopped"? Of course not. But this fact is ignored by the left, who are now LYING THROUGH THEIR TEETH and insinuating that Bush "lied" and "fooled everyone".

I'm sick of hearing the left stick up for the rights of terrorists and those who wish to kill us. Sick to the back goddamn teeth. For every one of you hysterical, irrational idiots screaming "IMPEACH BUSH", there are 2 people who are sick to the back teeth of the left's lies, of their long standing moral support of some of the worst dictators in modern history and for Islamofascists. Do I care if Bush wiretaps the phone lines of terrorist suspects? Not at all. Do I care if Bush looks at the bank records of Muslims moving money around terrorist organizations? Not at all. Only the worst kind of hysterical, irrational pro-terrorist morons would. Clinton introduced a digital computer phone tapping system which would voice analyze every phone call made in America. Did the left object? Of course they didn't. Clinton did it.

There is much now written about the ways in which the left literally lost their minds over Vietnam and lost all sense of objectivity because they were so hysterically hateful of the President and everything he stood for - some of the most prominent leftist radicals of the time fully admit this, and of the damage they did by supporting the enemy, and what this meant for the poor S.Vietnamese who were butchered and scattered en masse when the left got their way and ended the war. History, if it has any kind of objective threat whatsoever, will be kinder to Bush than it will to the sub-intellectual, hysterical babies that currently comprise the anti-war left.

You know, all this BS everyone getting their panties in a bunch over these percieved injustices. It is all BS. Why the hell do you care? These things don't affect you. It's just like the war, you got everyone saying "end the war!" When NONE of you have anything invested in it.

Oh yeah, I'm sure everyone has SOMEONE in their family that is serving, perhaps a distant cousin that you never gave a crap about, or never ever seen in 20 years, and NOW all of a sudden you care. Look at you! "Yeah, I'm a real American cuz I got me a second twice removed cuzzin servin in tha WAR!"
No more lip service patriots, WE are not embroiled in this war, THEY are.

Why don't you morons get off your high horses, YOU have nothing invested in the policies of the Bush administration, you are just some lowly Joe NOBODY, banging away on your keyboard in an inane effort ot make youself sound like an intelligent thinker, when in fact you could really give 2 sh*ts about what the Bush administration does, or what this war is REALLY about.

"Oh my Constitution is in danger", Have you ever READ the Constitution? Do you even KNOW why it was written? Do you know ANYTHING about the history of America, and it's founders, and the REAL reason for the birth of this country? Besides what you can cut and paste from any website, do you even KNOW what the issues are? Those issues are moot. Non starter, they don't have any relevance whatsoever in todays world.

Grow up you idiots, the world isn't what YOU think it is. Stop watching TV. Stop believeing the BS you read on the blogs. Stop thinking that everyone is evil, and hell bent on controlling, and enslaving the world.
NO MORE LIP SERVICE PATRIOTS! PUT UP OR SHUT UP!

Impeachment, followed by a short stay-(11 mos)in Abu Ghraib, seems appropriate.

william, to call any anti-bush sentiment "left", is way off the mark.

those of us who are ron paul, et al. libertarians are the only ones left anymore who are keeping the memory alive of what real old school conservatism and real constitutionalism is all about, for anyone who still cares to know.

you know as well as i do that what we have now in bush & co. is an unholy and ever so discreet alliance of neocons and christian fundamentalists who want us all to be much more conformist than the "left" could ever demand...

While I fundamentally agree with former Congresswoman Holtzman, I believe she may have made an error when saying "54 percent support Bush being impeached."

It is very likely that the 54% figure she was quoting came from the recent American Research Group poll which found that 54% support the impeachment of Vice President Cheney. The number supporting the impeachment of President Bush was 45%.( http://www.americanresearchgroup.com/ )

House Resolution 333 is the set of articles of impeachment against VP Cheney that were submitted to Congress in late April. Many see it as the first step in the impeachment of Bush. H Res 333 has 15 co-sponsors, including the resolution's author. I urge readers to contact their own congressional representative to ask him or her to co-sponsor this resolution.

Bush definitely deserves to be impeached, but that would leave us with Dick Cheney as President, which would be just as bad. How does Rep. Holtzman respond to this problem?

Anonymous, my understanding is that Dick Cheney has covered his you-know-what very well and that nobody has the goods on him that would support impeachment, whereas Bush is on the record with lies and other malfeasance. I will write my congressman Jerrold Nadler, who is quite intelligent, to find out what he has to say about HR 333.

Bush/Cheney definitely need to be impeached, but that's not enough. Post-impeachment they need to be sent to The Intl. Criminal Court, to stand trial for genocide and crimes against humanity. Bush/Cheney are two of the worst war criminals of the last 60 years.

Although I fully support the idea of Impeachment for the clowns, I would like to focus my comments about two petitons that will strengthen us for such an effort as impeachment.

1- The Balance of Power and The Bill of Rights to be Assured for the People

We the Undersigned view that 'Executive Order' on July 17th , 2007 titled 'Blocking of Property of certain Persons Who Threaten Stabilization Efforts in Iraq' is viewed to exceed the Presidential powers allowed in the US Constitution, and violates Amendment I of the Bill of Rights.

http://unity2008.org/Petitions/BalanceOfPower...

2- Joint Congressional Bill for the Economy of Active Representation

We see that "To be heard" is True Democracy, and "to be Represented" is the Truth of Democracy. In this petition we seek to be heard, with timely representation from you.( Through Online Voting )

http://unity2008.org/Petitions/EconomyOfActiv...
This will also be going out as a Press Release sheduled for 7/31 which I hope COngressional Aids will ask their Congressmen about.

When we have our Personal Empowerment at hand, as a nation we can move mountains, but with out our Personal Empowerment, we can only be set up to be exploited -

Sincerely Yours,
