You were warned repubs. Guess you now better come up with actual ideas now; rather than obstructionism.

Please explain to the forum why Republicans should have to come up with ideas to fix the Democrats fuckups?

Shouldn't the Democrats have come up with some original ideas to improve the economy, jobs, foreign relations? After all, that is what they were elected to do, right?

Ends justify the means. Change the rules of the game as you go along. Ignore the rules of the game.

It's the process no matter how abused at times has gotten this country around 2 1/2 centuries. It's the process, the rules of game.

Right now this amounts to judicial activism or legislation through court rulings. If things get too partisan the rules or law will become meaningless.

It is not the rules of the game. The Constitution clearly spells out that we are a country that believes in majority rule. It is that simple.

The Constitution never mentions filibusters. This is just another example of how the Republicans have perverted the process. Another fine example would be the so called Hasert Rule (Excuse) that the Republicans have used to corrupt the Congressional rules.

In every genuine democracy today, majority rule is both endorsed and limited by the supreme law of the constitution, which protects the rights of individuals. Tyranny by minority over the majority is barred, but so is tyranny of the majority against minorities.

Majority rule is not tyranny. Good grief.

You wouldn't say that if your party wasn't the majority.

Just wait! This coming November, Obama and the democrats will be so unpopular over the Obamacare fiasco that the Republicans will take the senate and keep the house. Then, when the republicans cut welfare and allow the makers to keep more of their earnings, all y'all socialists will be screaming bloody murder. I only hope that you remember that it was the democrats that removed the filibuster from the minority party toolbox. Enjoy!

What's the difference? The Republicans have said for years that they would make the same rule change if they were ever to regain the Senate.
