The crowds upset are understandable. The looting, fires and assaulting police is not. If you want to be taken seriously show it. Riot in Chicago where you are killing each other nightly. Does it really matter who shoots...........dead is dead.

When people rioted in the last century there was justification. Now they just appear to be committing criminal acts. The witnesses they have are not credible. The policeman has a clean record. We don't know what Mr Brown's record was, because that is a secret. We can guess since his mother has called for more violence in his name. Oh well, look at the bright side. This is an excuse to loot school clothes now. This is no civilized way to honor the memory of a dead child.

You know jack shit about the cop, because his identity has been withheld.

Blabbering moron - everyone knows this - all except you.

There is plenty of video footage of police shooting tear gas into peoples own yards, and multiple reports of reporters being forced out of the area - one was threatened by the police.

Now you have the audacity to make this statement;

"This is an excuse to loot school clothes now. This is no civilized way to honor the memory of a dead child"

On another thread, you accused this young man of attacking the cop, getting what he deserved, having a long record, blah blah blah!

As the wonderfully progressive Abraham Lincoln once said...
"I have no purpose to introduce political and social equality between the white and black races. There is a physical difference between the white and black races which... will probably forever forbid their living together in terms of social and political equality... and I am in favor of the race to which I belong having the superior position."

As the unreasoned violence of rape, murder and attacking police officers continues to increase, understanding and embracing the progressive insights of Lincoln may be finally bearing their deserving attention.

While his father sits next to her with a tee-shirt that says--you guessed it--"NO JUSTICE, NO PEACE," a mixed message at best. How can there be justice in a matter of a few days after such an incident?

What I find really strange here is that DOJ is involved after a claim of a civil rights violation, yet nothing I have seen or read says anything about the race of the officer. Whatever will everyone do if they find out the officer is <gasp> Negro, Hispanic, Asian?

We should speak up for justice and speak up for peace.

"He was a good boy. He didn't deserve none of this," said Brown Sr., who was wearing a T-shirt with the message "No Justice No Peace" and what appeared to be a photo of his son. "We don't want no violence. We want to do it the right way. We want justice for our son."

There are a lot of questions and it should not be difficult for the cops to give them answers about an unarmed man walking on the sidewalk.

That the cop's name has been kept secret (wisely for safety reasons) it is troublesome that the usual bashers and smearers attack the victim. Predictable.

Gasp ... the demographics of the police force is as follows:

The Ferguson Police Department has 53 total commissioned officers, three of whom are black and two of whom are other minorities; the rest are white, the police chief told the Los Angeles Times. Three of the officers are women and 50 are men.

Boy, civilized folks want answers, they tear up the National Enquirer, they wait for facts and honor the memory of a dead child by not smearing his name with meaningless fiction and hate.

We don't want no violence," Brown Sr. said. "Michael would have wanted no violence. We need justice for our son."

'I just want everyone to know and understand that the stealing and breaking in stores is not what Mike will want, it is very upsetting to me and my family,' family statement read.

All reports, including the young man who was walking with the deceased, have already stated the officer was in fact white. Reports on the police department in Ferguson have confirmed there are 53 active fill time officers, 3 of whom are black.

That is why the DOJ is involved.

No but he is already getting death threats. Trayvon part deux. We all might stop speculation and wait for the facts.
