"My sons are all adults and they've made decisions about their careers and they've chosen not to serve in the military and active duty and I respect their decision in that regard. One of the ways my sons are showing support for our nation is helping me get elected because they think I'd be a great president."

Gas is $3.17/gal in cville and will drop to under $3 over the next few weeks, then continue to drop.

If Romney is elected you can expect this trend to be reversed because of his 'get tough' rhetoric. His war hawk administration will raise tensions in the middle east. Higher gas prices will more than offset his tax cuts and hurt our economy.

Wouldn't it be a violation of the seperation of church and state to elect a saint to a political office anyway? Now I know why he wants to be president, all those bedrooms in the white house, as a poligamist he could fill them up quick.

They will probably have to empty those bedrooms of Michelle's friends and family members first, or maybe they will get lucky and catch them all out of town on one of their extended vacations.:)

Awwwww, you mad because someone stands up the the bullies on the right who think they can lie all the way through the election and win. You may not Maddow, but she does some nice reporting of things that won't ever appear on Fox News in a way that it is clear to see the irony and hypocrisy that members of the GOP display.

Obama: vote for revenge.
Romney: vote for love of country.
Romney wins big, just like Reagan.
Obama can't run on his record so he trashes Romney. Heh speaks with a forked tongue and expects people to believe him, not realizing that he can't keep his falsehoods straight and people know it.
Not that heh is a revenge voter, he is just worried his job with Virginia Organizing is going up in smoke when Romney wins.
The thing that makes no sense is you rarely hear a balanced, thoughtful or somewhat original post from him or hondacivic. Both troll the liberal websites and blogs for words that agree with them and dump them in the threads as somehow enlightening. Here's a clue, we see that all the time, repeating witless thinking over and over doesn't pass as interesting for most of us. It certainly isn't convincing or a compelling reason for anyone to vote for Obama.
There is quite a difference between Obama and Romney in character and ability. We've seen what Obama has got and it failed. Romney looks like he can get the job done where Obama failed. I'm not willing to wait until 2016 to begin getting out of this mess. This country deserves better than that.

Wow, the Romney bashers just won't stop with the anti-Mormon bigotry. Hope the folks who are still undecided are seeing all the unhinged hatred coming from the left.

Pat, you can believe whatever you want and could care less who you vote for. You come on here and spew what Rush, Hannity, etc tell you. It is not swaying anyone to vote for Romney. My thoughts are exactly that. Everyone has a right to free speech. I only correct the lies and hatred that the right has portrayed toward Obama for the last four years. Like I replied to you on another thread, the "revenge" part was correct, and it will be bittersweet. You are going to be in for a suprise and disappointment tomorrow night. The GOP plan failed. You will have to wait until 2016, or longer depending if the GOP wants to keep the tea party pulling them farther to the right.
