How's that hunt for a compelling governmental interest served by denying same sex couples the right to marry going?
Yeah, I kinda thought you were still an idiot.
Speaking of being an idiot, that was resolved months ago.(It was in all the papers.) You won. Congratulations. You're having difficulties keeping up?

By the way, they've landed a man on the moon, we've elected a black President, and talkies are all the rage in the movies houses.(P.S., they're rarely called "picture shows" anymore.)

He's not black, he's mulatto. Why does The Obamaniac always harp on his blackness and never mention his white roots nor his white relatives ? Is he ashamed of being half-white ?

Considering that his black father ran away from him and his mother; and his white grandmother raised him he shouldn't be.

Given you inability to even so much as touch upon the topic at hand, I guess your hunt for a compelling governmental interest served by denying same sex couples to marry is still going poorly?

Keep posting, BS.

Gather whatever gives you a tingle. Guess whatever makes you feel powerful. Again, you won. Not sure why you have to continue with your silliness, but if that's what you need to do, continue with your silliness. You're still an idiot and I won't lose a nanosecond of sleep thinking about it. Make up whatever silly crap you need to make you feel adequate. Good luck with that.

By the way, the topic is Justice Scalia, not me. Try to keep up.

So who is obsessed with sound and fury signifying nothing?(Consult your nearest mirror.)

And Scalia in fact has expressed his views on same sex marriage. Not only has he expressed them, but he has done so in print in his decisions.

This was a stupid claim. It was almost stupid enough to have been made by you.

So, when a four-year-old screams and refuses to go to bed, you consider the parents to also be throwing a tantrum? You must be a TERRIBLE mother!

If I am so stupid (in your desperate fantasy), why are you so desperate to want me to say the words you want to hear about so-called marriage "equality?"

I've said this a gazillion times, but some people just don't like a straight (pardon the expression) answer. I don't agree with the notion of same sex marriage. I do support domestic partnerships or civil unions. Some don't agree with my position.(By the way, I never demanded that anybody agree with me or my wording.) And, as noted, you won. Thus, why are you so desperate for me to use the words you want when, in fact, I don't believe in them?

I also believe in expanded use of nuclear power and fracking. Some will disagree. I'm not going to get all hysterical because someone dares have a different perspective or uses different words (as long as those words are honest).

You're not honest so you're really not worth taking seriously. So I don't.

He says he identifies as being black. And while you are technically correct, it's a quibble.

I don't really care what you think, in part because I do think you are an idiot.

Your opinion is irrelevant to the constitutional guarantee of equal protection of the law for all. So it really isn't relevant that you "don't agree with the notion of same sex marriage." Unless you could produce a compelling governmental interest served by deny same sex couples equal protection of the law to marry, such a restriction is unconstitutional. Your personal opinion is irrelevant.

We are talking about nuclear power or fracking. Why would you bring them up? Those activities aren't covered by the constitution, equal protection of the law is.

I am honest, I have supported my argument with the US Constitution and US Supreme Court decisions. You, on the other hand, have spewed your opinion, which is without factual substantiation.

I have spewed nothing. I have stated my position/opinion rather calmly. The argument (such as it is) is over. You won. Deal with it. My opinion stands. So does yours. I'm not going to have a hissy fit about it. Don't understand why you feel the need to.
