He received tons of money from lots of foreign nations and billionaires wanting to control the USA. He had the media pulling for him all the way. He had the best campaign money could buy. He had a multimillion member church working hard to get him elected, no matter what his policies were. He had a populace dumbed down to accept whatever he says with no critical thought.

This should have been an Election that made all Americans proud.\ We had an African American running against a Mormom, two groups that in the recent past have been denied civil rights and and discrimininated against.
Yet the hate filled partisanship and bigotry of BOTH SIDES is some thing we all should be ashamed of.
I some times wonder if the USA can endure if people dont stop and realize we are all americans and need to quit hating each other.

He lost.

You do have to understand the priorities that the Obama's operate under. Right now we have the tax issues, we have the debt and spending issue, but right now Obama is busy planning his 20 day vacation to Hawaii that will cost the American tax payers 4 million dollars. There is nothing new in the Obama agenda. He is taking none of the crucial problems very serious and it looks like he prefers to drive on off the cliff while he can still try and blame republicans. He has no plans, he has no agenda, which is why he couldn’t and wouldn’t produce one before the election. He is not a leader, but a hell of a candyman.

Agree--Øbama had all that, and that whole church thing--you bet. Kneeling at the alter of Øbama was widely believed to be like money in the bank--directly out of taxpayers' pockets of course. How can economic pragmatism ever overcome that? We'll see if it can in '14.

Interesting... and the realization that "we are all Americans" will only come back when individuals stop voting their own self-interest, and start voting for the country's best interest--all Americans' interest.

To the victors go the spoils, to the losers, well, ask your buddy Laughing Liberal. He disappeared after the election, about the same time you started typing out of your ass. We all thought he was fired or had a heart attack and died.

America has deteriorated to the point where Romney was simply too good for us. We prefer failure to any hope for future success for our families. Obama is perfect for the likes of us.

Posting on Topix is down 18%. We do so miss him, but he'll be back if his probation terms allow it.

What the USA needs more than anything is "democracy". The nearly identical two party system only produces a Zionist controlled Oligarchy. Listen to George, he knew this decades ago.

Romney must have done something right to have beaten out the only true conservative in the running for the GOP nomination: Ron Paul. And all the other phony conservative candidates.
