Guns don't overthrow tyrannical governments; PEOPLE do. You can live in paranoid fear of our government if you so choose, but you can do that without the right to own assault rifles and other dangerous weapons. And gun laws were used to keep the freed slaves from defending themselves after the Civil War. Blacks and Hispanics were targeted groups for gun control.
